Great overall, low carb, high fiber, fairly inexpensive
I was originally looking for a gluten free, low carb alternative to chips (that wasn't pork-rinds). 80 packages later, I'm still extremely pleased. One of the last foods I hadn't replaced with a low carb alternative was potato / corn chips. This fits the bill perfectly for my needs. They're roughly half the net carbs per serving as potato / corn chips, which isn't super low carb, but it was the only thing I could find that was practical that was still crunchy. Pork rinds could also fit the bill, but they're disgusting if you think about it, and are much harsher o the environment.More recently, I've needed to take on a high fiber diet. These chips are very high in fiber. If I eat two servings per day, that takes care over more than a third of my fiber intake. It's certainly much more pleasant than taking fiber powder and provides a comparable amount of fiber. These chips are certainly a bit more expensive than buying potato / corn chips, but it's hard to compete with the government-subsidized corn / potato industries. However, if you compare this to other alternatives, this brand has been the best price (so far).In terms of flavor, I very much like it. Potato / corn chips are always going to taste slight better than this, but that's just because the human body craves the most efficient fuel available: carbs. This is certainly the more mature choice. I still eat two servings of this every day along with some hummus. If the flavor weren't good, I wouldn't be able to bear eating this 7 days a week.I can tell this food isn't overly processed, or I would get some unpleasant digestive issues after the fact. It's quite a light snack.

Different and very good!
Excellent cracker/chip hybrid. They're dense like a pita or bagel chip, but loaded with naturally occurring protein and fiber from split peas and flax seeds. There's a noticeable amount of heat from cayenne pepper along with other spices. A really flavorful chip. And these falafel chips are a very filling snack with so much vegan protein and fiber. Munch on a few in the morning and stave off lunch hunger for a bit. Or in the afternoon if you know you're having a late dinner. I've been known to be an eat-the-whole-bag person and I was surprisingly full and satisfied with like 1/3 of the bag or 2ish servings. It would be great to have Subscribe and Save as an option, since even in the 4-pack they're not exactly cheap. And I'll definitely get through them. Also, they don't look very appealing. If they could do something to make them more appetizing to the eye, it would definitely help sell them. As it is, they're sort of greyish and one side is kind of flaking off... they could really use some of that Golden Brown and Delicious look that freshly fried falafel has.

Crunchy, good for dips, a little burnt flavor sucks though
Very crunchy, good in soups and with hummus. Some taste burnt so that's lame, but most of them have a great spicy flavor and I like the crunch. They are pretty filling when paired with hummus, salsa, guac or other dips, which is a nice find.

I like them pretty well but they should be thinner...
I would give these 3-1/2 stars if I could, better than ok but am still undecided on whether I truly like them. I like the spice, for my taste it's just right, spicy but not overwhelming. I ate 7 pieces which is one serving and has 6 grams of fat, 1 gram saturated and 5 grams of protein, 6 grams of fiber. They look like wedges of cardboard and are thick and very crunchy. I would like them better if they were a little thinner in fact if they were they might be fabulous. They are made of split peas which is a good thing and unusual for a crunchy snack. I'm going to try them with a dip next time, tahini or a yogurt dip. They are vegan which isn't crucial for me but a plus. No unpronounceable ingredients and naturally gluten free. I eat mostly vegetables so added some protein into a reasonably healthy crunchy snack is a plus for me. They are pricey but if you eat 1 serving at a time it works out to a dollar per serving.

Ok but DO NOT taste like falafel
These taste okay but not like falafel. Thick chips. Initially bland but then had quite a kick. Flavor similar to that of Red Hot Blues. Type of spice and heat level do not resemble falafel. Can definitely detect the split pea flavor. Tasty enough for munching but not what I expected and kinda pricey. Dry as can be. Would certainly be better with tahini dip. Make sure you have a drink handy so you don't choke. Decent protein content. Seem pretty healthy as far as a snack goes. Not sure I would buy again at this price. Also, shipped in padded envelope and were somewhat smashed. Idk why Amazon keeps packing orders this way...

The best falefel chips ever because they actually TASTE like falafel
These may be the best Falafel Chips I've ever eaten. First of all, ignore anyone whining about them not being thin enough or not enough like a Lay's Potato Chip or whatever. If they'd ever eaten real falafel they'd know that what they want is completely uncharacteristic of the dish. It's like ordering a T-Bone steak and complaining that 'it doesn't taste fishy enough'.I ordered these because my wife loves falafel chips and the local grocery store quit stocking her previous favorite. Since I'm a good husband, I ordered her a few different brands from Amazon and elsewhere. The first few bags we received were just 'OK'. For example, I'm eating another brand that they sell here at Amazon and elsewhere--I'll refer to them as 'Brand X Chips'--and they're not a bad eating chip. Of course, they taste almost nothing like falafel. You can get a faint chickpea note if you pay attention but it tastes more like a multigrain tortilla chip than anything else. These chips ACTUALLY TASTE LIKE FALAFEL. They even have a falafel like aftertaste and a faint spice kick to them. To anyone griping about that I'll point out the 'hot and spicy' in the item description. You can identify the ingredients (all natural BTW) by taste. They're also baked and not fried. Anyway, these are the best falafel chips I've ever had. If you like falafel you'll like these.
