Collects a lot of Flash comics from the past 8 decades but unfortunately only a handful of them are outstanding. The Silver Age stuff is fun as is the Geoff Johns Captain Cold spotlight issue but the the rest is solid but unspectacular. Maybe there just are not that many outstanding one-and-done Flash comics? Cetainly it's hard to believe that the two most recent issues included (a short 2017 Xmas tale by Joshua Williamson and a short 2019 Gail Simone story from one of the Flash Walmart-exclusive comics) represent the very best that the Scarlet Speedster has to offer.

Great gift for a DC fan
My son is a bit obsessed with The Flash, so this compendium of the first appearances of each Flash was a delight for him. Lovely quality, great selection of adventures.

Edição com excelente acabamento, desde o papel á encadernação que permite fácil abertura das páginas. Uma seleção de grandes histórias, como a primeira aparição dos 3 principais Flash, Joel, Barry e Wally, histórias nunca antes republicadas e uma história perdida de 1948 nunca antes publicada, entre outras de uma ótima seleção. Além das histórias e poder conhecer mais do personagem, vemos a importância do personagem para os quadrinhos e a inserção de elementos que mudaram para sempre os comics, como a continuidade, unificação dos personagens em um único universo e a noção do que futuramente viria a ser o multiverso.

Bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday and he loved it. He is a huge Flash fan and he almost started crying. Definitely glad I purchased this.
