Good quality, robust and comfortable.
I have only worn this on hikes, runs and jiu jitsu sparring. If you use the arm strap and place it on the inside of your bicep it is pretty comfortable and after a while you forget it is there. It is a bit fidgety to use at first especially trying to turn it on and off, also the app is a little clunky and you can accidentally lose your data quite easily. Now that I'm used to it, it's effortless to use, just turn on, open the app and press start. I haven't tried it in the water yet, my son is a club swimmer so I'll let him give it a good try out. Posted a screenshot of info from a 2 hour Jiu jitsu session. It's good value for money, build quality is robust and comfortable to wear and easy to charge with good battery life. Would recommend.

Accurate, unobtrusive, fully compatible with Apple (no other software required)
Excellent addition to a smart watch. It’s very small - not noticeable under a t-shirt sleeve and barely noticeable below one - easy to pair (with no need for additional software) very simple to use, appears to be very accurate, and unlike the sensors on my watch doesn’t suddenly stop reading just because i’m sweating a bit. Fully compatible with Apple Watch: just pair and play. Really pleased with this.

Nifty device especially for swimming, let down by by poor battery life and confusing to use at forst
I use this to monitor my HR and track my exercise whilst swimming, indoor rowing and playing tennis. To use this while swimming (without having to take your phone poolside) you have to put it in record mode. Afterwards you need to sync it to the Polar Flow app. In order for this sync to occur your phone needs a WiFi/data connection (although I’ve no idea why seeing as the devices connect via Bluetooth). To monitor your HR, cals, etc in real time (such as on a rower) you use the Polar Beat app. None of this is made particularly clear in the manual, and some trial and error was involved in working this out. I get about 3-4hrs of battery life, way less than the advertised 12hrs. Once you work this out, and get over the battery life, it actually is a great little device. Easy to wear on your goggles whilst swimming, and extremely comfortable on the arm/wrist for other activities.

The best HR device on the market.
This has been a transformational piece of kit for me. I've ran/cycled with HR for years, had many different types of chest/wrist based straps, but this has been the most consistent and comfortable one ive ever used. As quick to pick up as a chest strap, and as accurate (I had an H10 and Tickr before this). The gamechanger is how comfortable it is, and not having that feeling of dread putting it on damp!!!! If there was one downside, it's the battery life isn't amazing, but unless you're doing ultras or IronMan, it should be more than sufficient

Good idea but poor and frustrating results and usage!
Not easy to connect to app, you have to turn app on first then the band. I found no matter where i placed the band on my arm sometimes it would be working other times which was more often I was getting low heart rate even though I was working out at higher levels of effort. Sent it back and getting chest band. The app is really good, but think polar should stop selling this band though as make me doubt there products! This was the second unit I had as the first one I had was even worse at reading heart rate.

Brand name is worth the premium
I originally bought a cheaper non-branded version for use with my Peloton bike. Mistake. Returned it as it was inaccurate and kept disconnecting, and bought this instead for slightly more. Wow. Night and day difference. Very accurate - within 1-2bpm of my chest strap HRM. Connection with my Peloton is rock solid - syncs in seconds and never drops. Battery life is good - and USB recharging is easy and fast. Only wish the battery indication was easier to see without having to connect to the app.

★★☆☆☆ Decent HR Monitor, but Frustrating Issues
I really wanted to like the Polar OH1+, but it has too many drawbacks to recommend. The heart rate tracking itself is fairly accurate when it works, and the armband is comfortable. However, the connectivity is a nightmare—Bluetooth drops frequently, and ANT+ is hit or miss. Syncing with apps is inconsistent, and sometimes the device just refuses to connect. The swimming goggle strap clip is a nice idea, but in practice, it’s awkward and doesn’t always stay in place. Battery life is decent, but not amazing. For the price, I expected a more reliable device. If you need a hassle-free HR monitor, you might want to look elsewhere.

Polar 1 Fitbit 0
So I bought the polar OH1 because my fitbit inspire became unreliable. I should say that fitbit replaced my inspire and it seems ok but is not a patch compared to the Polar OH1. I have used this nearly everyday since I bought it and the heart rate monitoring has been great. I haven't compared it to a strap monitor but , there has not been any loss of data. I have had to charge it twice since I got it on the 17th April which is about 10hrs of training per charge. The polar beat and polar flow apps compliment the tracker really well. The polar Beats is the live tracker for your phone and displays data as you train. I have put two heart rate traces on the review. In conclusion I think this is a great heart rate monitor and wish I got one earlier. Cant wait to use it in the pool too!

Serves it's purpose, cross checked with my Apple watch series 4, good consistency across the two. I find it useful to be able to track activities without my phone.

funziona perfettamente, mi sembra anche molto preciso, anche se non ho mai avuto delle fasce cardio tradizionali. Molto comoda da portare, personalmente la tengo sull'avambraccio sinistro

I've had this for a bit over two months now and I've done about 50 runs with it. It was very easy to set up and I find the app is all I need. The band is very comfortable and it is easy to turn on and off, it syncs quickly with the phone, there are LEDs which clearly indicate when it is on and when it will need charging. It seems to last about 5-6 hours on a charge. You can use wireless headphones while you use the HRM. It seems very rugged though I haven't abused it at all. It is waterproof. The app is very reliable and easy to use, I have an iPhone 8. It links up to a server but I don't even need this level of analysis, I keep a spreadsheet. The app provides average HR, Max HR, time, distance and pace. (it also provide calories burned and fat burn, I don't use these). It also has the ability to graphically see HR versus time and you can adjust a slider to get the detail at any point. Similarly there is a map view with time versus distance and you can "slide" along any point in your run and see the time and distance data. The app has been totally reliable. The HRM and GPS data are both accurate. I have crosschecked the HRM against several other sources. There is a slight lag (it uses optical measurement like a pulse oximeter). One caution, to charge the unit you place it in a small cradle that plugs into a USB port. This works well but if you lose the little cradle you won't be able to charge the unit until you get another one from Polar.
