Woolrich Men's Trout Run Flannel Shirt, Red Buffalo Check, Small

Okay- so I like the shirt, I like the pattern. I ordered this shirt after typing into the Amazon search box, "American made flannel shirt" and this popped up. So I ordered a large and it fits as expected. However, right on the American-looking "Woolrich" tag underneath the collar, it clearly says, "Made in China".So if you're looking for an American-made flannel shirt, this isn't it.If you want a really nice long sleeve flannel that's made in China, this is your shirt.

My husband loved this shirt I bought him for Christmas...I was concerned the sleeves wouldn't be long enough, as he wears a 35, but Woolrich large is a generous sleeve length, and fit perfectly. Make sure you wash Woolrich flannel shirts (he has MANY) in good detergent INSIDE OUT) to protect their color and texture; they truly do last longer that way. Soft texture, vibrant color. I paired this with an olive green vest I purchased for him from Woolrich (Woolrich showed the 2 pieces together in their catalogue, but this shirt was way cheaper through Amazon). Classy!

Quality is awesome and I'll be buying more. I bought large (180lbs @ 5'11") which is a hair too long and baggy in the sleeves, but the length is spot on. It's not so large that I'd want to get a medium next time though so maybe I'll try their slim fit option...Colors are excellent and after numerous wash/dry cycles (even offshore where they do everything hot/high heat) there is no perceivable shrinkage in either shirt.

Purchased for my husband and he loves them I ordered four, due to his increasing size, (must be the cooking) and they are wonderful. The flannel is what I would rate as a medium weight. So many here in the Virginia stores are very light weight flannel and they tend to wear thin after a season. These are terrific. Since the purchase he has worn them everyday. Great fit and they wash very well. You can wash on normal or heavy duty and the come out perfect. I will purchase again if needed.

The material is very soft and comfortable against the skin. It is also nice and warm on those cooler days. I cut off the Woolrich tag on the side of pocket as it is distracting and takes away from the aesthetics of the shirt. The colour and check size is ideal - not too large or small. The fit is just a little larger than I prefer. Especially on the lower part of the sleeves that cover the forearms. More of a taper there would be better.

This is the second woolrich trout run flannel I have owned. First one lasted years only to be distorted buy an accidental bleaching. High quality for a flannel not to thick and not to thin. I normally wear everything in XL but this shirt fits me great as a Large. Also this is the only flannel I own that the sleeves are long enough.

Wow! This is a very high quality, well made, flannel shirt. It's miles above what we've become accustomed to, from buying clothing "on the cheap" and then having to discard it next year. This shirt will be with me and worn like a trademark for years to come, as long as I give it the care it deserves. When I was a youngster, my family used to get a box of quality clothing that my well-off cousins back east had out grown. We always appreciated getting what we called our "Care Package" from them. That's how I was introduced to Woolrich. It was a gift of love. So whenever I wear my Trout Run flannel shirt from Woolrich, I just feel comfy and yes, loved.

Love this shirt - but be warned... I bought three more from Woolrich (same size Large) but different colors and they were the size of a two man camping tent.

I really like this shirt - the materials are great, the colour is great. My only complaint is that the sleeves are not long enough. I purchased the Oxbow Bend shirt at the same time, in the same size, and the sleeves are perfectly long.

Great quality and fits nice if you are bigger around the middle.
