I've had my fair share of attachable phone lenses in the past (including the premium and pricey Moment lenses). I went with these because I needed something cheap and easy that would allow me to get close shots of my jumping spider. I really wasn't interested in going the high quality route again, which would require a special phone case just to use it. You can get really close with zoom lens + the internal camera zoom but that starts to require a very steady hand to focus. The clip on design is super easy and functional and I haven't had and issues using it on my old Iphone 8. Yes, there's some vignetting with some of the lenses but that should be expected with lenses in this price point. The price and convenience factor makes these well worth the price!

I needed a macro lens. Apple deliberately restricts the camera on my Iphone12 so it doesn't do macro. This kit is remarkable in how easy it works and the great pictures it takes. I use it for photos of coins and it is amazing. Haven't tried the other lenses but the macro is worth the money. Pieces are well built, nicely packaged and with lens covers. I was actually amazed at how easy it was to use. It just attached over your camera's lens. No software, no phone mods. Didn't need to buy an iphone 15.

I bought this set primarily for the macro lens. I do a segment on watches on my social media page and I found that all my pictures of the watches were fuzzy and never all that clear. I selected this out of random as several people had recommended it in the reviews. Honestly I wasn't expecting much from the price but I figured nothing may be better than nothing and went ahead and put the order in for a kit. I got the package and was pleasantly surprised on how it was packaged in a sleek black box. Each lens cushioned in it's own foam hole. I fully expected these to be plastic housings and acrylic/polycarbonate lenses and pleasantly surprised the housings are machined aluminum/steel and look and feel remarkably like the lenses on my SLR just much smaller. The machining is done well and the lenses feel like quality products. They are polarized and coated just like any quality lens. With thick plastic, snap on covers for the front of the lens and the tail end of the lens. If I don't lose the covers, they are nice and sturdy and will probably last the life of the lens. Really surprising at this price point! I have used only the macro lens to take close up shots of watches and what not around the house and they have come out incredibly well. I am using an iPhone 8 plus. Much better than without the lenses in place. It takes a bit of practice getting the lenses positioned correctly over the iPhone lens, you just have to have the camera app up and move the clip around until the picture is clear. The wide angle lens has a bit of the vignette effect on the outer edges of the picture but easily cropped out during editing. It does give more of a wide angle shot and the fish eye lens definitely gives a cool fish eye effect (probably going to be my least used lens). With the kit comes a soft grey carrying bag that doubles as a lens wipe. Everything fits inside the bag so if you are on the go you can throw the lenses and clip into the bag and take it with you. If I had any negatives it would be that the lenses screw on to the plastic clip via threads. When you have a plastic thread connecting to a metal thread time and time again, there is a tendency to cross thread the lenses. One just has to be careful for those first few turns to make sure not to ruin the plastic threads on the clip. I wished the clip was made of a machined aluminum or had some kind of bayonet mount like my Canon camera but I know that would add complexity to the system and therefore add cost. I don't think it's fair to ask for something like this at this price point. The other negative is the carrying bag is fine but I can hear the lenses clacking together in the bag which is like fingers on a chalkboard to me. I would never let my SLR lenses do that. However understanding the price point and the convenience of having just a small bag to carry them around in, I can see why the manufacturer did this. I might try to figure out a way to just put each one in a smaller bag or microfiber just to keep them from hitting each other. Or just get used to it as these are still inexpensive lenses. These lenses and kit are made in China stated directly on the box before anyone asks. Overall this is an impressive, well made kit for the price and delivers a considerable value based on the price point. I would definitely recommend it for the average person or casual hobbyist that wants to do a bit more with their phone camera. If you are a serious hobbyist or professional you probably are already using a SLR or mirrorless setup instead of using your phone camera anyways. This kit may not be for you.

I ordered this product after looking at it for several months. I ordered this one because people said it would work with a phone case. It works with a phone case but not great. You get big dark areas and you have to really work to get it to where there is only a small gray area. Don't want to have to go through the hassle of removing my case any time I want to take pictures and at the same time risk damaging my phone if it falls. Will keep playing around with it because I do like having these optional lenses but I'd be lying if I didn't say I am a little disappointed. Also, the lenses could've been packed better; the box they are sent in was pretty flimsy and not in good condition so it won't stay closed and therefore isn't very useful as far as protecting the lenses when not in use. The lenses themselves are nice. They are lightweight but seem to be decent quality for the price.

Got a used product that was returned, they didn’t even try to repackage it considering there was a lense just floating freely in the box. One of the lenses came without the protective caps on them, so was all scratched up. No matter how or where I place it on my iPhone, you can see black glob on the corner screen/image from the attachment.

I wanted a macro lens for my iPhone XR. This one came with a macro, a fish eye, and a wide angle. I used the macro a few times, and it does a good enough job. Probably not a professional quality, but for someone like me, it works fine. I haven't really used the other two lenses as much, but they seem to do an ok job. The only thing is, you need to take the phone case off to get a good picture, which is rather inconvenient, especially when you're in a hurry or in a messy place. The lenses and their caps are small and they're easy to get lost. To take the phone out of its case, screwing the lens on the clip, taking off the caps, etc. is tricky. You have to be careful not to drop anything. But you really can't help it, since the camera lens itself on the phone is small and of course the phone case gets in the way. For the price, I am happy and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to try macro pictures.
