Did a great job aerating the yard

This didnt work as well as I had hoped. Assembly was easy enough by design. Problem was metal was bent so I had to use some force to fix it. Ok fine once its together. Storage is difficult since it's a bunch of spikes. Kept it in the box when not in use but not taking apart every time. The spikes need to be slightly curved. When rolling it felt like I was prying out the dirt. This is purely due to the physics. I ended up using spiked shoes. This product I was not worth the 40$ I spent.

So, on some items I will give a review for, some I won't this is one of those items that I will. Yes it the product is exactly what you are paying for. Yes the product does work, mostly. Preferred longer spikes to dig deeper into the ground. It would be nice if the weight was a little heavier. Yes, heavier it helps to give ground force. With that said, when using I do have to give a bit of a push down for it to grab the dirt, and at that I decided to use it on 2 surfaces. First was on the dirt and on dirt the product is great. On grass however, because there is now a barrier getting deep holes as desired is not as desirable. Now the question becomes what to do? I will keep the product, and I will continue to use it. It is not idealistic, however I do not feel spending hundreds of dollars on something that would give the results I would desire to have. Nor, do I want to use the shoe spikes. So with that said. Yes the product is what you are paying for, but do not plan on it being overly impressed, but it does do the job just fine.

Depending on the type of soil it worked well. On more clay areas the product seemed to struggle to penetrate the soil unless you were putting a decent amount of force into it. Did tend to need a bit of pressure which was hard with the type of handle.

This doesn't really penetrate the ground as I thought it would. The flap to add weight is flimsy bends easily doesn't hold a brick or anything else to add weight for proper penetration. Had me doing more work and effort to airate my lawn than I expected

I’m a smaller woman so it’s perfect for me. Have needed one for some time now and this one is the first I’ve found that is not to heavy for this little old lady.😜

This did exactly what I needed it to, and for the price it’s a really great value. Very easy to assemble and use.

As other reviews have said, the construction is flimsy, the spikes need to be longer, and it needs to be heavier. Because of the latter two things this is a waste of money. I cut my grass very short, and the spikes still are not long enough to reach into the ground and aerate the soil. I recommend not buying this product.

The Goplus Rolling Lawn Aerator is made super cheap. They advertise that it works on hard ground, it does not. Won't even punch through the grass. Unless your backyard is all sand and nothing else. It won't do what claim. So, i took it appart and packed it backup right away and sent it back to Amazon. Get a profesional to come and do the job instead. No stress to you anymore.

Why can’t they make this thing six inches longer? Garden tools are never designed for anyone over 5’10”. Does anyone know how to solve the problem of the nut falling off the axil? If the axle was longer I would drill a hole through it and put a pin or a nail in it. I walk around the yard tightening the nut with a socket wrench every 30 seconds. Total pain.

You have to push and work so hard

Très fragile, une des rangées de pics sort de la roue, les roues bloquent après quelques pieds! Les boulons doivent être légèrement vissés sinon les roues bloquent. Une des poignées doit être limée car le tuyau ne d’emboîte pas dans l’autre. Chambranlant
