I tried these lozenges and was pleasantly surprised by the taste and how quickly they dissolved in my mouth. The mint flavor was smooth and actually enjoyable, not too harsh or medicinal like some nicotine products can be. The lozenge melted fast, which made the experience feel satisfying without having to hold it in my mouth for a long time. In terms of performance, they worked well for what they’re designed to do. I felt the effect quickly, and they helped manage cravings in a way that felt comfortable and effective. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a nicotine lozenge that tastes good and dissolves quickly while delivering reliable results.

The taste is wonderful, and I enjoy the slight burning sensation that you get when chewing it. I find that helpful in itself. It works well. Slows down my cravings a ton, but I'd be careful with this because I could see myself continuing to use this long term just because its an enjoyable way to consume nic. If you aren't super committed and will fail because of something like this, maybe try out patches and chew normal gum. These are quite expensive too, and I find that mints work well but are cheaper.

I smoked cigarettes for 56 years--and at 3 packs a day for the last 5 years! Not only was my health going to heck in a hand basket, but also buying 2 cartons of cigarettes a week was costing me an arm and a leg. I have tried over and over again over the years to quit smoking--tried everything. My problem is that I am so allergic to so many things that I could not tolerate some of the smoking aids out there to help me to quit. I am allergic to adhesive so I could not use the patches, had dentures so I could not chew the gum, went to smoking clinics and tried the new drug, CHANTIX, but has such severe side effects that I could not tolerate it. And every time I tried quitting I would gain at least 10 lbs.--and never could loose those pounds after going back to smoking. I was a big fat mess by the time I bought these "Good Sense Nicotine Lozenges". Now I have tried other nicotine lozenges before but they were so expensive that I could not afford to keep buying them. These Good Sense Nicotine Lozenges are just as good as the ones you buy in stores and is at half the price. The longest I have ever been able to quit smoking was almost 2 weeks before I caved in and went back to smoking. When you have smoked as long as I have, it is almost ingrained into your brain--that is one of the things that a councilor told me at the smoking clinic. I started these lozenges on July 14 and it is now August 6--not quite a month but the longest I have ever been able to go without smoking. Now I am not going to tell you that the urge has gone away because it hasn't, but whenever I get the urge I pop one of these lozenges between my gum and my cheek and within a few minutes I feel calmer. According to everything I have read these lozenges are suppose to dissolve in about 30 minutes but it takes a long longer than that for me--for at least 4 hours! Now people have complained that if these lozenges have 4mg. of nicotine, that you are still getting the same amount of nicotine as you would in a cigarettes. But the way I figure it, when I was smoking at least 4 cigarettes (chain smoker) per hour, which would have been 16mg. of nicotine, then 4mg. of these lozenges in 4 hours is a lot less than a cigarette--one mg. per hour (lozenges ) vs. 16mg (cigarette) per hour. After I had ordered my first pack of these lozenges & saw how well that they were helping me, I then started the "ship and save" subscription so that I would not run out while trying to quit. I received my first shipment this month (quantity of 2 packs) but then after I received the first shipment I went back and changed my subscription to start getting the 2mg packs instead of the 4mg. My plan is to slowly wean myself off the lozenges as I quit smoking. I don't know how long this is going to take but no matter how long it takes, it will be better than to continue smoking. For now I am very happy with this product. This is my last hope. I will update this review when I have finally quit smoking for good and weaned myself off these lozenges.

I don’t recommend these because I couldn’t even get through leaving the first one in my mouth, long enough to dissolve all the way very uncomfortable feeling it gives you on your tongue and in your gums not appealing flavor at all. I couldn’t let it sit long enough to even see if it would work I couldn’t stand the feeling or the taste absolutely disgusting if you’re trying to quit use patches or a different method because this is not the one.
