Physical Therapist recommended purchasing a band after IT issues while training for a marathon. I saw this one and read the reviews. It has been working for me. Bought a second band to keep in the car as a backup. The neoprene against the skin helps hold it in place and is comfortable. It has not slid down or shifted out of place even when sweaty.

I got this product the end of May, it’s now the 4th of July, I wear it 3 times a week to run and it has already ripped. The window to return it closed on June 20th. While I do believe it helped ease the pain in my IT band while running, it lasted less then 100 miles of running and a month.

These straps work well, but if you pull too tight, the plastic guide will turn sideways and pinch. Very good for the price and I like using them.

It provides the needed support, but the neoprene pinches and is uncomfortable.

I loved the relief this product brought me, as I have IT band syndrome and hiking can be painful. But upon my first use of this band, it significantly ripped in two locations. I am a small girl and wore it closer to my knee, so it wasn’t being over stretched.
