Love this gel for my curly hair! I’m biracial Hispanic and Black with very long curly hair and it tends to frizz up easily. This gel is very lightweight, silky in texture, very little/light scent if any. Keeps my curls tame, frizz free and gives it shine making it look and feel more healthy. Keeps my hair looking moisturized, quenched and lasts for several days! I use this gel with a leave in conditioner, let it air dry or diffuse it, once it’s dry I add a small amount of argon oil which makes my hair look softer and lighter with bouncy curls (opposed to a crunchy wet look weighing down the curls) and that’s it, my hair looks great and holds up to my standards (and I’m very picky about that). A little also goes a long way! The bottle is on the small side for the price, but it will last me about a month so it’s worth the price. Eventually I will work my way up to buying the liter size! Definitely a must have in my line up of hair products which isn’t much. The less product my hair requires the better. Very much worth the price tag! I’m a military spouse and having lived in different climates, this gel definitely holds up through it all, from dry heat in the west coast to sticky/wet humidity in the south, never fails to function the way it’s intended to!

I absolutely love the way this makes my hair feel. This gel is a game changer for curly hair. It gives my curls amazing definition and hold while still keeping them soft and touchable no stiff or crunchy feeling at all. I love that it also helps lock in moisture, which keeps my hair from drying out or getting frizzy throughout the day. The consistency is lightweight and easy to distribute evenly through my hair. A little goes a long way, and it layers nicely with leave-in conditioners or creams. Plus, it holds up well in humidity, which is a big win. Overall, this has become a must have in my curl routine. If you want defined, shiny curls that stay in place without feeling weighed down, I highly recommend this product.

Helps make my curls beautiful! Locks in moisture without looking oily and keeps the curl from getting frizzy longer! After I use this product, I diffuse my hair and my hair is so soft afterward. Not crunchy like many curl products. Smells great and really nice quality!

This product is a very promising replacement to Ouidad's Curl Immersion Hi-Definition Custard. It's lightweight and provides definition to my curls/waves. More importantly, it gives a healthy sheen to my hair, unlike a lot of products. Flaking doesn't seem to be an issue either. I gave 4 stars because it still doesn't quite match the experience I had with the Custard, but it's definitely in the ballpark.

This product is great for men or women who love their curly hair. Non-greasy, smells great, works wonderfully.

I wish I could give this and the advanced climate control cream 10 stars. After SO long of looking for a curl product that works for my curls, this is it!!! After washing/rinsing, then scrunching out excess water and scrunching this and the cream in, diffuse completely dry by gathering locks from tip to root holding the diffuser relatively still. And voila!!!! No exaggeration when I say this and the cream are now the only products I need to get my curls defined, beautifully coiled and soft!

I use this in correlation with the Quidad Curl Cream and absolutely love it for my day 1 post shower. It leaves a light cast easily broken with an oil. I also mix in one little squeeze with the curl cream for day 2. It’s not heavy and helps with frizz and retaining moisture. I’m obsessed with these Quidad products. Definitely picking up more! Just be sure you don’t use to much or yair curls will be sticky. I recommend using it with the praying hands method and a light scrunch. I blow dry down to to lengthen my curls but it does a great job with a diffuser as well. I also recommend after they dry to break them up with some oil or serum. I like the sb2 by sutra rejuvenating hair serum it mixes really well with these products The bottle is also HUGE and will last a while. I’ve had mine 2 months now.

I have long, naturally curly hair. Humid Ohio summers make me look like I touch one of those electrostatic balloons. This produce held my hairs' curls the first day but by Day 2 there was no more hold. I also didn't care for the scent. It wasn't overwhelming but it had a slight medicinal smell.

I have long, course, thick curly hair. I apply wet and then dry. Gives great curl definition with soft to the touch hold.

After trialling many products for a natural curl gel without crunch and build up… finally found Quidad. This is my 3rd bottle, I have tried the different levels of hold and I find they are all hold up in humidity and heat and holds my curl without frizz. A little product is needed and rinses out nicely. Working my way to building up my Quidad collection of hair products.

This product may work really well for someone else. It just doesn’t have enough hold to define my curls. I will probably give it to someone who is looking for more of a beach wave kind of curl.
