Berry Bros & Rudd Orange and Thyme Distilled Gin 70 cl

Although I normally avoid tinted gin that deviates too much from the dry London style, I have become a fan of Tanqueray Sevilla with Fever Tree clementine tonic and a huge slice of orange. Tried this BBR for comparison as I love their no.3 and very glad I did. There isn’t much similarity with Sevilla in fact, the orange element is very subtle while the thyme if anything stands out more to my palate. A refreshing gin that’s not trying to be weird and fruity, just a subtle herby variation on a classic recipe.

The low-cost alternative to their No3 gin; this has a little less flavour but retains the overall BBR freshness. Good for quaffing, rather than as a martini base. It's a staple in my gin cupboard. Best with lime imho.

I purchased this as I have been looking for a really refreshing grapefruit gin. The flavour of this did stand out and was noticeable but I still would have liked the grapefruit flavour to have been a little stronger

Lovely delicately and naturally flavoured Gin, smooth and works well with cucumber tonic too. Bargain at £18 and worth paying full price. Another quality BB&R product. They’re whiskey is superb too

Mostly based on my girlfriends feedback as I only got one drink of this. Truly one drink and as I had only the one drink I was accused of having half the bottle............. Was a great taste and went well with Fever Tree mixer
