I don't usually leave reviews but when I product is expensive the reviews are so valuable in making a good judgment in perchase. I bought this item @ 10weeks ago. My skin is very tanned from the summer, I had hair on my chin and upper lip that were becoming thicker and blacker, I was getting ingrowing hairs which caused lumps and bumps on my skin. I was having to pluck every day and could still feel the roughness at the end of the day. After using this product for the past 10weeks I have had no ingrowing hairs, hairs are much less and finer, my chin is smooth - I noticed a difference almost straight away - and this is with a good tan! The product works better on pale skin. I've also been using on my legs, arm pits, and pub area but not as consistently - good results here too. It's easy to use would definitely recommend

LOVE THIS! Being a woman with thick dark hair and pale skin, this is a godsend and I am already seeing results after only 3 sessions! The hairs in my legs and armpits are already super patchy and struggling to grow back. Such encouraging results, cannot wait to see the full results after another couple months of use. Definitely worth it!

I’ve had this IPL machine for a few months now and so I find it’s time to give an honest review! I initially found connecting the power socket a bit tricky to begin with but now it’s absolutely fine. You have to be consistent with the machine, like exactly what you read from the manual. I do find a massive difference since using this product (I’m normally a person who can shave one day and feel hair growth later same day) I have now went 2 weeks without shaving and although some hairs are growing,all be it at a much slower rate and I wouldn’t hesitate to wear shorts or a skirt and go out without shaving the hair is so minimal! The hair on your lady parts are obviously thicker so I feel I need to spend more time down there but still the growth is no where near what it was. For down there it the IPL machine does get very hot and so I find myself turning it down to 1 so perhaps this is why i find a less hair growth on my legs than down there. I hope this review helps,consistency is the key!

This has worked really well quite quickly. I have seen an initial reduction of hair by maybe 50% and slower growth. My complexion is fair and dark hair and have used this for more delicate areas by lowering the intensity of the pulsed light. This is where it takes longer to see permanent/semi-permanent results. The rest of the body, legs and underarms is virtually hair-free after a couple of years of use. It is easy to use and weighs nothing, so you can take it with you while traveling. Smooth skin all over

I’ve been using this IPL machine for almost a year and it has made a big difference on my legs. I find it works best on thin darkish hairs but not on any coarse hair even though I am quite pale.

I have tan to caramel skin and this ipl device works. Settings are really easy to understand, device itself isn't too painful depending on the intensity and the rest is straight forward. Note-the device will not work on discoloured areas if they're too dark.

I returned this afternoon 3+ months of weekly use as it made no difference, and given I have pale skin and dark hair, it should have worked well. You also have to shave before each use, which irritates my skin, and the flashes were very infrequent. I had to wait 3-5 seconds between each flash, so using it felt like a very slow and laborious process. It's also really really bright, I had to wear dark glasses for it to not hurt my eyes and look away when using it.

I've been using this for around 2 months now on my legs and underarms and the difference is amazing - I run a razor over them occasionally in the shower (takes about 30 seconds) but there's almost no need, the hair has pretty much disappeared. I can't believe how 'easy' it has been. About 10 years ago I tried a different IPL (Boots own brand, I think) but it was a massive hassle - you had to apply a liquid to conduct the laser, and wait for it to recharge in between each pulse of light - it took ages and was messy and fiddly. It did make a difference to hair regrowth, but the process was such a faff that I quickly fell out of the habit of it. This is so much quicker and easier to use - it takes me around 20 minutes to do the entirety of both legs and underarms, and that's at a fairly leisurely pace whilst reading a book. It is no more hassle than shaving (although less easy to see where you've been!) and although it sometimes gets a bit hot, it doesn't hurt at all (if it gets hot, I just leave it for a couple of minutes to cool down). I've been doing it weekly for a couple of months and could probably shift down but it really isn't a hassle so I'll probably keep up the habit for a bit longer, and then step down over winter. I've not tried it on facial hair yet but that's the next plan.
