Our director chair covers are a few inches longer than the measurement listed for this item. One of our original seat covers tore, so we took a chance & bought these; the cost for custom director chair covers is ridiculous....over $60.00. Put them on & opened the chair as far as it would go initially. Over the weeks we'd gently sit on the chair & felt it stretch with each sitting.

I ordered these with the director's chair covers. The fiberglass inserts were too long, too thick and while trying to wiggle it into a too small hole I kept getting fiberglass shards in my fingertips. Total waste of money. I ended up taping the ends and using them in the garden as grow poles and went to Home Depot and got wood dowels that I cut down and they fit perfectly. The canvas covers that I got were also subpar but that's covered in another review.

The color looked even better against the wood frames of my chairs. The quality of material is good and fit was exact. Would have liked rods to have been included but not complaining since quality of canvas made up for that. Maybe how to select the size of the covers could be cleaned up. It seems you could inadvertently select the wrong size because you cannot choose the size you want from one item picture. You have to be sure to select the size you want from separate item photos.

These rods are VERY STIFF! if you are repairing a chair with any contours, these will NOT work! I would have returned, but missed my window by a few days!!
