PGN UCP205-16 Pillow Block Bearing
I purchased a two pack of these pillow block bearings for a flat sander project that I had just finish designing and I am now in the process of building. I am always amazed at these bearings and how well they work and how cost-effective they are I have mounted up my large 22" long contact Drum between two of these bearings and they run smooth as silk. The bearings seem to be very well built and are double sealed and should hold up well in this application I have used similar bearings from this company before and they have lasted a long time. I highly recommend these bearings and would use them again. Thank you

Some axial play but good enough for my application.
Decent for the price. Casting is heavier-duty than others. The bearing has +- 0.4 degrees slop. This is less than others, but still pretty high. I had no problem fitting 1-inch axles in the bearing like other reviewers. The "Self-Alignment" feature takes about 8 foot-pounds to adjust, so it might align by itself with some vibration or when greased. The only problem would be finding replacement bearings with the necessary spherical shape.

Great Bearing's, Fantastic Price $$
PGN - UCP206-20 Pillow Block Mounted Ball Bearing - 1-1/4" Bore Review edit 07/07/2021 I have used several of these BRG's and have had on problems with miss alignment, I have read other reviews that state the brg,s are out of alignment, These are self aligning bearings if the are not able to self align I would check and see, That if it's not a manufacture problem on the bearing but on the final users design as far as the alignment goes, there's a lot of room for the final assembly to be corrected buy the bearings ! Great Bearing's, Excellent price, I used these 1-1/4" bearings to attach 2 - 7 foot gates to the framing of my shop to keep my explorer dog from exploring. ( also keeps his furry friend's out ! I used 1" ID. Black Iron pipe for the shafts, turned down to 1-1/4" OD, works great, but a little over kill on the bearing size so when I built the gate for the 12 foot door on the other side of the shop I used PGN - UCP205-16 Pillow Block Mounted Ball Bearing - 1" Bore with 3/4" ID. pipe Turned down to 1" OD. The gate sections are fence sections that I purchased from HFT many years ago work great for larger dog's, maybe not so good for smaller and pups.. I have just reordered a additional set of the 1-1/4 in to make a 16X4ft automatic swing gate for my driveway. (Will write a review on how that turns out shortly !!)

High build quality, good price
Disclaimer: I haven't used these yet. I'm going to be using them in a go kart project of sorts. These are my initial thoughts just based on looking and feeling the bearings in hand. If I notice any performance issues when I finally get to use them, I'll update this review. I bought these mainly for the price. I was a little apprehensive because of the video that shows you how to "align" the bearing if it's misaligned when you get it. I'm familiar with pillow block bearings, so I wasn't surprised to see that they may come misaligned, but the quality of the video made me wonder about the professionalism of the company. Luckily, all of those fears disappeared the moment I took one out of the box. The quality of the casting, machining, and finish on these bearings is top notch. I was expecting Harbor Freight quality but these are actually quite nice. The bearing itself turns smooth with no slop or crunchiness. I was particularly happy to see a zerk fitting on the pillow block. I'm going to be using these on a go kart that will be outside much of the time, so being able to relube the bearings is huge. The fit on my axle is very tight. All in all, I'm quite impressed. We'll see how they hold out once I start using them for their intended purpose.

Very nice upgrade for swamp/evaporative cooler.
I got these a to replace the cheap pillow bearings that wear out every other year on my swamp/evaporative cooler. They were wide enough to fit on the rail in my mastercool (1.5" wide), and a drill bit away from having new bolt holes. It made the squirrel cage about 1/4" higher, but no issues with airflow from that. My cooler only spins at a max of 2100rpms which is far below the max these are rated at. All that I added were the M10 bolts and nylock nuts. I'll update this review over time and if anything changes. For my cooler upgrade application: Pros: - 2 grub set screws per bearing - Pre aligned bores - grease zerk with protective caps (will see how long those last) - Sealed pillow bearings on each side so the grease doesn't just fling out - Nicely machined 1" bore - Pre greased Cons: - No additional hardware Other: - Because I was using these in a very different application, not surprised bolt holes didn't line up with old cheap swamp cooler pillow bearings. So this means you'll need to drill some holes in your rail to make it fit with proper bolts.

Very good
Nice and solid bearing seems to have nice preload. Will be using it on a diy wood lathe. Bought .625 bearings. I have a ground rod that’s exactly .625 and the fit is a nice sliding fit. So bearing must be ground over size by about .0005-.0015. Initially I was dismayed as my bar didn’t fit but there was a slight burr on my bar where it was cut. Took the burr off and it slid right in. I will definitely be using pgn products again. Very mind blown with how good this purchase was. Some people said in comments that bearing was shipped as metric to them. This did not happen to me, so it may have been a mistake in the past.
