Lenmar CBD8003 2.4V 700mAh NiMH Replacement Battery for V-Tech 8003 cordless phone battery

I did a lot of shopping around for a new battery for my V-Tech phone model DS6322-4. The phones are a few years old now (but you can still buy them online from some places). The cost of replacement batteries for 4 handsets (all the batteries were slowing dying) was going to cost about 1/2 the price of just getting a new phone system. Then I found this Lenmar CBD8003 replacement battery for my handsets (V-Tech Model 8003 handset for this phone system). So I purchased 2 (for the worse two phones) and they work great! I love these phones, they do everything I need including Bluetooth headset and connect to my cell phone. I would recommend buying these instead of buying the V-Tech brand or others.

I have used this battery in a V-Tech phone for several months. It has held a charge throughout the day. I am thus far very satisfied with the performance of the battery. The cost of the Lemar batter is much less expensive than the replacement cost of the original V-Tecj battery.

Our battery is no longer working after 7 years used. This battery last pretty long so far and hopefully it will last for couple more years.

One set lasted for two weeks and died, I was displeased with the Item.

I tried to purchase this battery at Radio Shack but they were unable to find the right one. Once I looked up the current number for my phone, it was easy to order on amazon. The battery arrived promptly, was easy to install and works great. The price was just right.

Ordered 4 batteries. The order arrived in 2 days. One battery was literally burnt to a crisp in the packaging. It had obviously shorted out at some point after being packaged (maybe in transit but there is no way to tell). It was totally melted, wires burned, and the packaging scorched.For the other three, none will hold a full charge, at least according to the phone that they are plugged into. Even after charging for 24 hours, all show only one or two bars on the battery icon. Sending all of them back to Amazon.I have to add, this doesn't seem to be an isolated incident. A lot of battery reviews on Amazon say exactly the same thing -- old batteries sold at a steep discount but in the end are basically worthless. Amazon seems to have become the dumping ground for dead batteries. At this point, I am very wary of buying ANY battery through Amazon. It's just not worth the hassle.

This battery works perfectly. It holds a charge well and recharges quickly. It is also more reasonably priced than the OEM BTB001.

This battery, while cheaper than the manufacturer's, was a complete waste of money. The battery lasts about 15 minutes off the charger. Most phone calls at my house are longer than that, and if you want to have the phone off the cradle so that you can have it handy in another room, forget it. My solution follows: I used two AAA rechargable batteries, dismantled the above reviewed battery pack, and replaced the cells with the rechargables...soldering the contacts in place, and taping the cells themselves together. This solution has lasted over two years....much much longer than the original battery and far and away longer than the replacement I've reviewed here. If you are not a DIY kind of person, I recommend against using my solution, but if you feel comfortable with a soldering iron and such, save yourself the money and hassle. I am able to leave the phone off the charging cradle for hours at a time, and have never had any trouble with a call being cut off because of a dead/dying battery pack.In Amazon.com's defense, I received the shipment in a timely fashion, and belive the price to have been a fair one for the product. I come to Amazon.com first when online shopping, and will continue to be a loyal customer. I believe their customer service is among the finest I have encountered.
