Pricey but really blocks blue light
This is incorrectly labeled "yellow" at optimizeyourbiology. The correct lens color is amber (orange) like the product photo. Keep in mind, it will alter visual perceptions of blue especially images on computer screen. If color fidelity is important, yellow is the better option, or clear type is best but provides the least blue light reduction. Could feel the 33% brightness reduction through eye fatigue wearing it indoors. Its fine in front of bright monitors at night tho and think it will make a decent impromptu outdoor shades. Frames feel sturdy and temples are flexible type of plastic. Hinges are tight, molded joints are screwed together. Comes with a nice case. Also at $50 currently, can't say its $ cheap and falls under the $$$ category imo. I suppose the selling point is it's light, comfortable, stylish, skinny, decent quality, and blocks very close to reported blue light %. But if price point is impt, then there are comparable brands here for way less. Prefer yellow lenses for daily use but will keep this one as a spare for times I want more LED blocking.

Worth every penny
I’ve been using the Prospek blue light blocking glasses with amber tint, and they’ve made a noticeable difference. The quality is excellent, sturdy, comfortable, and stylish. The amber tint really helps reduce eye strain during long screen sessions, especially in low light. Definitely worth the investment if you’re looking for clarity and comfort.

Great!
The frame is ultra light and very comfortable. Glasses do what they're meant to and work really well. As someone who works from their computer I can attest that my eyes do not feel as tired anymore and I get no tension headaches so I think the product is very good quality.

Very Comfortable Difference Maker
For quite some time, I felt that my eyes were no right and that I was in need of corrective lenses. With my job, I am required to take an annual physical that includes an "eye test", which is a simple reading of an eye chart. Because of what I am able to dicern, albeit somewhat fuzzy, I still rate at 20/15 vision. I have also had two professional eye exams and had left feeling oddly disappointed with the same 20/15 result. I have some days where I struggle more than others with focus issues with tired and dry eyes but I assume that's the same for most people. At home, in the office, outdoors, in stores, all have a variety of factors, mostly lighting, that probably contribute to the degree of sight issues. I finally had reached an "I can't take it anymore" point of focus struggles and decided to break down and buy a pair of readers. I stopped by my local common drugstore to try on a few pair using a medicine bottle as my reading material as it's one of the most frustrating things that I try to read. I know very well that this print is much smaller than typical and not something that I would be reading often so I factored that in accordingly. As I tried on various pairs of glasses, I came across a (more expensive) "computer" reader. I wasn't sure about what exactly this was and then factoring in computer distance versus document distance, I opted to do a little research. This of course turned into a lot of research as I am one of those that really analyzes my purchases, hence the "unfortunate" length of this review. But my hope is to benefit someone with like experiences. I will spare you all of the specifics of my research, but I will simply say that I was quite surprised at all of the things to consider when considering reading glasses. But I was also surprised to learn about the effects of "blue light" or UV rays from flat screen devices and even some office and home lighting sources. What is called "digital eyestrain" more and more seemed like a sound explanation to why my vision is 20/15 but I'm still having issues. I do spend a lot of time in front of a desktop at work, in an office with fluorescent lighting and smartphone time in the evening along with LCD television, albeit from about 8 feet or more away. After reading much about digital eyestrain and relating that to my lifestyle, I came across the Prospeck (or Spektrum) line of glasses. After much consideration about paying a little more than what I otherwise would at the drugstore for something I wasn't 100% sure was a solution, I not only decided on the Prospeck Professional readers (1.50), but also a pair of the Dynamic with no power for desktop and tv use exclusively. I was sold on this brand because I ultimately felt that all things considered, the price was quite reasonable. But also, positive reviews that focused on things like their weight, universal nosepad comfort, quality of materials including spring hinges and size along with styling. I have had these glasses for about a week and a half and have been using them every day in a variety of applications. I am very pleased with the results as I do believe they make a noticable difference in the comfort of my eyes with less strain. For the Professional that are powered at 1.50, quite simply, you don't know what you can't see until you see it. Reading on my smartphone and even playing a couple of games under power is just more comfortable. Period. I do not have much of a qualified opinion about this point but I do feel like the quality and accuracy of the lenses is very good if not excellent. One thing I remember reading about in all of my research is how readers should have their strongest focus in the center of the lens to "guide your eyes" to that sweet spot properly. Forgive me for not remembering the proper technical term or phrase for this effect. As a reference, I wear a 7 1/2 cap size and the large frame option fits great on my nose and ears. The the weight is really only noticable if I'm thinking about the fact that I have them on. Aside from the benefit of power and the comfort of the frames, I am equally impressed by the management of blue light effects. My eyes are simply more comfortable and without question, it's from the reduction of blue light. I thought the slight tint would be a distraction but it's really not to me. Whites are no longer true white and rather have a very slight yellow or dingy like tone. But unless you are in graphic art where color accuracy is a priority, it's likely to only be initially noticable and quickly forgettable. Some reviews mentioned things like "corner glare" or reflections but I've not experienced any of that. There is also the matter of some computer glasses having a wild colored lens tint but I've had no one, including eyeglass wearers comment on the lens color. One last point is the concept of "better sleep". I hesitate to say that as a result of wearing these, I'm sleeping better. I am; however, I did recently purchase a new mattress topper, with Covid-19 I'm simply doing less; therefore, less stress, so I don't know if it's mental or an actual benefit. I do seem to wake up better rested and I definitely am waking up with refreshed eyes, which is something I have not experienced in a long, long time. And I'm at the point where not wearing them in front of a screen is starting to get uncomfortable. Between the drugstore, what a family might have laying around and this purchase, my experience with reading/computer glasses is extremely limited. But I consider myself lucky to have come across this brand considering the price, quality and most importantly, results. They are a real difference maker. As far as the four star rating is concerned, that's only because a 1.25 option was not available, which seemed odd to me. I do believe this would have been a better power for me but only for the benefit of holding my phone at lap level as opposed to 4 inches closer. That being said, I will be buying two more pair so I won't have to transport between home and work.

I am actually getting tired at night
I love my gadgets at night when relaxing. I love the blue light blocking and actually get tired and ready for bed at a normal hour since I started using. The little extra magnification (getting older sucks) have helped with no squinting and relaxing the crows feets. Wish I got these sooner.

Most comfortable & reliable
PROSPEK is the best brand for blue light blocking glasses. In the video I’m comparing a pair I’ve had for a decade with the ones I just bought. They may not have the additional flexibility my old pair has, but they don’t need it. They are big enough and comfortable for my large alien head. These PROSPEK’s are even more lightweight than my old pair, I like that there isn’t the unnecessary rubber/silicone pieces on the sides. They have definitely improved these since my last purchase. I use rubbing alcohol to clean smudges off the lenses and you can see that it’s still protecting just as well as the new pair when I test them. These lenses are legit! The frames are so very comfortable. I need these for gaming & driving. They help prevent headaches and eye strain. I’ve tried other brands such as Titan and they gave me headaches from how they dig into my head and I’m referring to the largest size available because I just returned them and got these. Don’t fix what isn’t broken. I will only get PROSPEK going forward.

Good fit and brings my computer screens into focus.
Perfect, just what I needed. I sit about 20" from my computer screens and these bring it all into focus. Lightweight, I even forget I'm wearing them. Just got them, so I don't know about durability. They seem well-built, though.

Decent Glasses - But Too Expensive When Compared to Others
I bought the "PROSPEK Blue Light Filter Glasses, Computer Eyeglasses for Men and Women - Gaming Glasses Blue Light Blocking with Clear Lens, Anti Eyestrain, Reading Glasses (+1.25x)" And, my review is for those. The glasses are pretty good and work as describe. But, overpriced. The lens are bit small for me. Meaning, they are not very tall. Which is I guess part of the look of them. But, for me, when reading, I end up having to move them a bit or press them close to my face. For some people they might be fine. Not perfect for me. Also, the lens does have a yellow tint. The description says they reduce the yellow tint. This is true. I have some readers that block blue light and they are a bit more yellow. But, I also have some others that have no yellow tint or close to no yellow tint. And, yes, it does seem to block blue light. But, not better than my other pair that have no yellow tint. For some people, they don't mind the yellow tint. I hate it. So, these having less yellow tint is good thing for me. My pros and cons: Pros: * Frame color - kind of stylish and mind are the red/black * Lens - seems decently clear. Not amazing * Less Yellow Tint - not overly yellow * Blocks some blue light Cons: * Short top to bottom Frame - Although I like the frame look, not as tall as I would like * Frame Material - just a plastic frame. For the money, I thought these would some light weight alloy * Price - Overpriced compared to other glasses on Amazon and not really better Overall, they work. But, for the price, they should be better. I paid $40 for these. I can get the same quality and performance for $18-20 with other glasses on Amazon. I have multiple glasses that I use from various vendors. I have been being paying in the $20 range for the other ones. But, thought i would give the more expensive ones a try. However, I just paid more for these. I have the Prospek non-magnification ones and those are way better in quality. Although, on Amazon, they are listed on the same page, the non-magnification ones are different. Way different. I wish they had those with 1.25x. Then I would give this a 4-5 star and it would be worth the $40. These are just the cheaper ones. I will most likely return these.
