Simple, Perfect.
I have to be honest, ive used this item in the past... I first encountered it at a cafe in Cambridge... you could tell by the wear it had be through hundreds of uses, dropped, run through a commercial conveyor washer, etc. It was small, simple and easy to control. The current version is no different. I don't recall the older ones having a plastic handle in the filter, but perhaps it simply broke off after its thousandth use? This particular item is simple and sturdy... It will both last for years to come and come out the other end still looking good. You don't have to hold the lid down when you pour--which is a huge thing for me having a minor form of cerebral palsy--though if you're nervous you can apply counter pressure to the stainless steel tab... It can fill a normal 280ml (6oz) cup 3 times... Allowing me to drink my morning tea with milk, without tainting anything more than my own cup... The lid does not come off, but thats ok with me... it can be cleaned with a basic sink brush and some mild cleaner (vinegar) or abrasive (baking soda). Another interesting thing in my opinion is that the filter just happens to fit well in my daughter's old sippy cup, with a lid ( The First Years Take & Toss Spill-Proof Sippy Cups, 10 Ounce, 4 Count )... allowing me to stop the steep on something i can use multiple times while also protecting it from spills, dust, cats, etc. The benefit to that is after you dump out the bulk of the leaves, the cup is then almost a perfect vessel to fill with water, shake and pour out the couple of remaining that stick to the filter. My favorite benefit though is that they stack. The bottom raised ring on the vessel fits on top of the lid of another, allowing you to safely store a couple, while taking up a minimum of space.. Very nice for the times when my wife and i would like to share tea time, while also drinking the kind we each prefer.

Great no-fuss teapot for daily drinking!
This is a great no-fuss little teapot. It's cute and colorful (I chose Mandarin) but is also sturdy and easy to use and clean. I thought the lid being attached might be a nuisance, but I actually love it because it's so easy to just flip it down after steeping and I don't have to worry about holding it in place while pouring my tea as I do with some other pots. The handle gives plenty of room to carry the pot without burning my hand, and the flatter top portion makes a nice spot to place my thumb for stability. I find the spout does have the capacity to dribble a bit, but I simply brush it against the rim of my cup once I'm done pouring and have no problem with drips. I will add that I don't use the infuser that comes with the teapot, I use a small size Finum brew basket because the mesh is finer and I find that metal baskets are difficult to empty immediately because they become too hot. So I can't vouch for the quality of the interior metal infuser. I also purchased the ForLife Q tea cups (7 oz.) and they are a great companion to the pot!

Tea for one ❤️
I purchased for my daughter for her nightly tea. It’s great. Strong thick little tea pot. Great quality and stays hot while steeping your tea in the stainless holder inside. I read reviews before purchasing & one complaint was the top opens when pouring. I didn’t find that a problem at all. The top is light but only when getting the last bit it will open but just placing your thumb on the lift underneath with a little pressure it stays closed perfectly. Great quality for the price. & easy to clean. I would definitely purchase again. It would make a great gift.

Cute, Lovely Little Tea Pot!!
I love my little Stump Teapot!! I can easily make a couple cups of loose leaf tea and it keeps it warm while I slowly enjoy my brew. I'm even thinking of purchasing a second one, since they stack so well, that way I can brew a second tea for any guests. It's really the perfect size (18-ounces) for a single person, or to share with one other person. The inside stainless steel tea-strainer basket is far superior to many of the other tea pots I've tried. It's wide and deep enough that it takes up the majority of the space available for it in the tea pot, allowing your tea leaves ample room to mix and steep in the water, not jammed near the top of the opening. The holes are also very small, small enough that I get little to no tea leaf debris falling through even with the super fine looose leaf Twinnings Breakfast Tea. The blue color is also great, exactly as shown in the picture. The color is even, no dripping or chipping. And I have my eye on the lime green one next!

... steeping basket from FORLIFE and it's of the same excellent quality as this
I have a mug with steeping basket from FORLIFE and it's of the same excellent quality as this. Just like my mug, this pot is of simple, but clean design and is very solidly made. For reference, 18 ounces is enough for either one large mug of tea, or two small (Japanese-style) portions. I was hoping this would adequately serve two people, but realistically, it's not quite big enough for that. I was a little disappointed, however, I still give 5 stars because this is an excellent replacement for a cheap plastic infuser. On a more personal note, I prefer a traditional basket-in-teapot steeping method as opposed to the plastic infuser style of steepers that are sold so heavily at teashops and basic retail stores. Plastic is porrous, so it will stain very easily, and show it. Also, with plastic, it may or may not be dishwasher safe. But the biggest problem is that, unless you drain the infuser COMPLETELY, the tea leaves remain submerged and steeping, which could result in them being useless for a second steep. With basket-style steeping method, as with this pot, after pouring at least one cup, the basket is now held above any remaining water and thus, is more suitable for a second steep. And besides, for not much money, this teapot is much nicer, easier to use, and easier to clean than a plastic infuser.

Nice little teapot
This is a nice-sized teapot for a single tea drinker. The SS lid has no gasket and is a little noisy. The design and quality of porcelain is good, as well as the handling, but I found the color to be more of a chrome yellow than "mandarin", and I didn't love it and have returned it.

This is the perfect teapot for one.
Since receiving this teapot it has been in daily rotation. I love it. It is the perfect teapot for one - giving you roughly two cups for every brew. The basket mesh is solid and easy to clean (not the cheap malleable mesh like other teapots have). It even has a small handle to allow for easy removal of the leaves. The mouth of the pot is wide and at the correct angle so the air pressure does not cause it to dribble. The porcelain is beautiful and easy to clean - I've tried cleaning both by hand and with the dishwasher, and both are easy to do. At first I thought that the lid being permanently on was irritating, but after using this a while I found it to add to the usability of it - no losing the lid, or worrying about dropping it, or finding a decent place to put it when refilling. I bought the turquoise and in real life found it to be slightly more of a duller robin egg blue and less of a bright green than the online pics show. Still, I care more about the functionality than the color at this point, so it still gets 5 stars. Well done, FORLIFE! I am seriously considering multiple backups. Highly recommend.

Great little teapot for one
I've had this for a few months. This teapot is the perfect size for about two cups of tea (or one and a half if you have a large mug). I like it because it fits neatly on my desk without taking up a lot of space, and I can refresh my cup very easily. It doesn't keep the tea hot for a long time, but it keeps it hot long enough for my second cup to be hot, and that's all that really matters. The infuser seems like a good size for the teapot, and works great. I brew oolong tea in it often and it has enough space for the leaves to expand. It's easy to clean since the infuser is just a little basket you can pull out and the hole in the top is very large. I can wash it in a bathroom sink since it's so small. I sort of wish it had a goose neck since that's easier to pour than this little spout, but this works perfectly fine for what it is and I don't feel the need to replace it.
