These FP tools are very well made, attractive and look like they will withstand the test of time.

As tough as it was setting the amount of money this fireplace set cost, there is absolutely no quality or appeal comparison with the cheaper fireplace sets. All the tools and the stand are made of iron, not stamped steel. The stand is heavy and less likely to tip over at the hands of a toddler- unless there is real effort applied. The claws at the top of each handle is a detail that caught my attention as I considered whether or not I’d pay the money. In the end I decided to go with this set with the peace of mind I would likely not need to replace it like I would a cheap set. I have used all the tools and am glad I went with this set over the many more cheaper sets I had considered. No regrets!

I purchased this for my husband for Christmas. For too long, we had been using fireplace tools that were not very large and had screw handles that did not stay taut. It drove him nuts. He loves this set. Heavy duty, tall, sturdy, attractive and well priced. I am very pleased with the purchase!

Highest quality you can get. High price too, but you get what you pay for.

Not the cheaply built stuff you so often see. Anything under $100 isn't going to last IMHO. I notice that the price has gone up considerably now, however. We purchased at ~$260. Maybe wait for a sale.

Was the size, scale, and quality that we were looking for. Works great for us.
