As soon as our toddler started getting into everything, we knew we had to baby-proof the bathroom, and the toilet was our number one concern. This toilet lock has been a game-changer. The installation was a breeze, thanks to the strong adhesive backing. It took less than a minute to get it in place, and it has held up perfectly, even with my toddler's attempts to yank it off.The design is simple and effective. It requires a specific press-and-turn motion to open, which is easy for an adult to do with one hand but is completely baffling to our little one. This has given us great peace of mind, preventing them from throwing things in the toilet or, even worse, playing in the water. It also helps with keeping the toilet lid closed to prevent pinching little fingers.My only minor complaint is that it can be a bit awkward to use for guests who aren't familiar with it, but you can usually show them how it works quickly. For us, the peace of mind it provides far outweighs that small inconvenience. If you have a curious kid, this is a must-have for bathroom safety.

This is the 2nd set of these I’ve bought in the past 3 years. Super easy to install, work great (as long as you/other family members remember to lock it back after using the bathroom), visually blend in nicely with white toilets, and give peace of mind. One of the ones I installed 3 years ago is still holding great, the other was broken off by my older toddler after a couple years so we just replaced—overall I’d rate very durable stickiness and good value for your money.

Reasons I thought I might need a toilet lock: -to keep my toddler from falling in headfirst and drowning Reasons I actually need it: -to keep her from flushing random things down the toilet -to keep her from splashing her hands in the water -to keep her from drinking the toilet water -to keep her from falling in headfirst and drowning Do yourself a favor, get these! And don't worry, very quick for an adult to open if the toilet is needed urgently.

This toilet baby lock seems durable, great value for your money because you get two, the adhesion is super strong so be sure and correct in placing product. Very easy to use and safe. I’m not sure if this a great locking mechanism because when pushing the button it’s an easy pop off and I know my toddler will get it quickly in using the locking mechanism but this will give allow me time to get to him before his toilet splashes begins.

Great baby proofing addition especially once they reach the toddler phase when they realize they can throw stuff into a toilet (if left unlatched by a husband lol). Strong adhesive, good quality and provides a nice strong latch. Would absolutely recommend these

However, the downside of such a strong adhesive is that once it's on, it's quite permanent. This aspect is worth considering for those who might want a temporary or adjustable solution. We bought these after our toddler discovered the joy that was dunking his hands, our phones, his toys etc. into the toilet.. he is strong and smart so I was a bit worried he may muscle them into submission, but much to my delight, he hasn’t figured it out yet! We looked at the strap style locks but wanted something easy for grandparents, guests, and exhausted parents to unlock and lock preferably with one hand, and these were perfect for that! They were incredible easy to install and have held up great to many pulls, whacks and pushes my toddler has dished out on them! They are made to swing back onto the catcher piece on the tank when the button is pressed, and one of ours does but the other isn’t lined up quite right so we have to just manually move it a small bit once it hits the catcher piece (total user error, non-issue at all and still works just fine!) If you’re wanting something easy to install, comes with 2 extra 3M adhesive circles for easy moving or reselling, keeps kids and pets out of the toilet, then these are the locks for you!!

Easy to install works well on 2 out of 3 toilets and the tabs make it work on the 3rd one

Works like a charm. My toddler kept opening and closing the toilet and this fit nicely. It’s a little hard to put on at first for measuring it perfectly.and the adhesive is very sticky.
