This is the most nutritious molasses brand. I really wanted a gallon instead of messing with these little bottles but I didn't see one. Verv securely packaged !!!!!!!

The jar the molasses comes in is not sealed well. I was driving and it tipped over and the top came off and all of the molasses spilled all over my car seat. 26 dollars down the drain. I'd buy again but store it in something other than its original jar.

Like most natural foods, Blackstrap Unsulphured Molasses is loaded with healthy nutrients (e.g., iron, calcium, potassium, B6 and many other vitamins and trace minerals). And, there are many anecdotal claims attesting to this product's "miracle" healing and repairing characteristics --- everything from a daily energy booster to a cure for cancer. I have not done a lot of research on these claims, but I can attest to my own personal experience with using Plantation Blackstrap Unsulphured Molasses for over three years. I can definitely feel an energy boost, when I use it consistently. But, what is amazing to me is this product's ability to restore hair color! About three years ago, I started developing small patches of gray hair. My hair is naturally dark (almost black), so, needless to say, the gray really stood out. After several months of consistently using, at least, a tablespoon a day, I noticed the gray patches dissipating. And, to this day, I have not experienced anymore gray patches. In fact, all of my hair is noticeably darker and with only a few scattered, stray gray hairs --- still working on those! Another side benefit is that my hair has become thicker and stronger than before I started using the molasses as a daily supplement. So, bottom line: this stuff truly lives up to the claims of increased energy and hair color restoration --- at least for me. This particular version of blackstrap molasses does not claim to be organic (on the label). It is, however, unsulphured and pure in the sense that the only ingredient is "unsulphured blackstrap molasses" --- no additives or preservatives. It comes in a thick glass bottle and has the best value (per ounce) compared to anywhere else I could find on the internet (my total cost was $100.98). And, purchasing in 31 ounce bottles is much more economical than buying in 15 ounce bottles. Although I do not care for the taste --- I have to make a hot drink out of it with honey, cinnamon, cocoa and sometimes coffee or tea, this superfood truly has visible benefits, over the long run. If you can handle the taste, this product is worth using and finding out which of its benefits work best for you.
