Great SPD Compatible Pedal
Didn't even have to change the cleats on my shoes, just installed the pedals on my new bike, clicked in and rode away. Easy to install, decent quality (over 2000 miles so far with no problems), and they just work. A great value.

Good SPD Pedals, Very Fair Price
This bike pedal functions the same as the name brand model. Very easy to install, provided you properly greased the old pedal installation. Sometimes getting an old item off is more difficult than installing the new, particularly with pedals and tires. The pedals were clearly marked right and left and screw tighten toward this front. This opposing screw direction is to prevent loosening while cycling. The spring tension adjustment was easy also. Correct size Allen wrenches were supplied as well as standard uni direction shoe cleats. If you really care about weight on this style pedal, you probably should into competitive racing and buying racing pedals.

Bearings are not good.
Updated review, after much inspection, I found the pedals weren't the noise issue but it was my bottom bracket. However, for the price, I still stand by the fact that there are better options near this price range from Shimano that are well made and nicer. I do like the retention of these pedals. Quality lacking. The pedals clipping mechanism itself is good, no issues there. I bought two sets of these pedals. The first set starting clicking real in the bearing area. So I switched to my other set. All was well for a while when the clicking in the bearing began again. I took the medals apart and cleaned and lubricated well. Clicking got better. Eventually they returned to the original clicking. I ride my bike about 20 miles a day several days a week. If I lose a pedal bearings i'm stranded. For $14 more dollars, I bought a set of Shimano road pedals for peace of mind. This will go in a box for spares. The value just isn't there for these pedals comparatively to better brands.

Excellent Pedals at a value price.
I have had time to put several hard rides on these pedals on my Hardtail MTB over the past several months. The pedals have performed excellent with no issues highly recommended.

Great pedals
Great reversible pedals. Our commuter bikes needed new pedals, these were so inexpensive we were thinking they would not hold up but no they are great. Smooth Clipping in/out and very sturdy. We made the right decision.

Great for the price
I have these paired with an inexpensive pair of MTB shoes on my Ozark Trail gravel bike. It's a great combo. These have been great pedals over a couple hundred miles so far.

Nice entry level pedals
I'm not really much of a bike rider, but lately I've been going on some longer trips (about 20 miles once a week or so) and decided that it might be worth my while to invest in some clip in pedals. After reading about the two main types of clipless systems, I decided the SPD-style pedals would better fit my bill and budget, and desire to stay around $100 together with shoes. Installation was a breeze, once I purchased an additional wrench to get my unexpectedly heavy old regular rectangle pedals off, and these Venzo brand pedals slipped right into place. I haven't had any issues with the tension of the clipping mechanism after three solid rides so far, though I did have a bolt fall out of my shoe causing the shoe to get stuck clipped into the pedal -- I releasing the tension all the way got the shoe out but the small metal piece which the tension screw screws into is rather difficult to get back into position if it happens to fall out. The included cleats fit nicely on the shoes I bought and other than some embarrassing falls and general awkwardness getting in/out of the pedals, I haven't had any issues with these pedals. If you are a beginning cyclist like myself looking for an affordable entry to clipless pedal systems, these fit the bill well. I also have taken some shorter trips with regular non clip-in shoes with these and they are acceptably fine.

Great "clipless" pedals for hybrid/mountain/road bikes
I bought these to replace Venzo's other clipless pedal that has a platform on one site to ride with regular shoes. Initial Setup: Easy to install and get your "clipless" shoes setup and riding quickly on my hybrid aka comfort bike. New Bike: Moved these to my new road bike and reset my "clipless" shoes with the bicycle shop's direction. These are very easy to clip in and out of and make a huge difference when you are riding. Final Thoughts: Don't let the idea of falling hold you back. You will fall once or twice because you are going to forget to unclip. If you get in the mindset of "I'm coming to a stop or stoplight, I need to unclip now", you will get used to this quickly. Unclip with one foot and lean your bike on the unclipped foot. Leave the other clipped into the pedal and rotate the crank backwards until you can get that foot into a takeoff position when the stoplight changes. It will become second nature in the matter of a few rides and you won't think about it again. I highly recommend these as a good starter pedal to get used to them. It made a world of different on my comfort bike in what I could do going up hills that I had struggled with for a while. You won't regret getting them.

Excellent pedals & great value for the price. The pack included the SPD clips as well.

As a lifelong cyclist who rides on a daily basis (300+ kms per week), these pedals are just as good as the entry-level Shimano offerings. Wouldn't trust them for anything technical (i.e. XC or gravel riding), but they have performed very well on my commuter bike. Bearing seem well-sealed, float is good and overall quality is robust. Would recommend!

Not good at all. After a short period of very light use the right hand pedal has seized up! The product is a month over its return date and there isn’t any product repair information so I’m the price of the pedals down now. Not happy at all!

I installed them in a few minutes on my stationary bike and have used them a few times since and everything is working as expected. Very simple.

I have no issue with this retailer (they sell legit products and have honoured their 2 returns for me with minimal issues including a non-Amazon sale) but I'd fallen multiple times with these pedals before returning them. Weight is as advertised - but either the design is flawed or the manufacturing tolerances are not appropriate, as even with minimal tension there were times where the cleat would remain locked in when performing a full twist, and the spring mechanism felt a little loose and got worse over time. I've since used M520s 2-3 times a week for the last year - they are heavy but work, instantly fixed my unclipping reliability issue for good, and the clipping in/out feels extremely crisp and has not noticeably deteriorated over that period.
