Galaxy S5 Battery Case & Belt Clip / Holster - UNU Unity Samsung Galaxy S5 Battery Case & Battery Belt Clip Holster case [Black/Black] - Ultra Slim 2800mAh Additional Rechargeable Portable Charger

I purchased this product to replace my Otterbox Defender as I use my phone quite a bit during the day and found myself having to charge the phone throughout the day. I have used the case for approximately two weeks now and it definitely has served it's purpose by extending battery life to the point that I don't have to charge during the day. This is very nice and I suppose is the main function of the case so A+ for this. Here are a couple of things I really don't like about the case I think could be very easily fixed and make this case perfect. First thing is you loose the water resistance of the S5 when you add this case as you have to replace the back panel of the phone which is actually sealed on the S5. this second thing is after carrying an otterbox for years, this phone in this case seems awkward and slippery. I haven't dropped the phone yet but I feel it coming. Maybe some rubber strips could be added or a different plastic would help. Lastly, I ordered a belt clip for the case and it does not fit very well. The phone is a little loose in the clip and has actually slipped out of the clip a couple of times.Like I said in the beginning, over all this product gets a C+ for the added power feature but with just a couple of what I think are minor adjustments this case could easily get an A+.

As the rating says, it is ok. The charge the case holds is great. Over two days on one charge with heavy data usage. The strength of the case, not so much. I have accidentally dropped it already (twice), as I haven't had a belt holster for quite some time now and just getting used to it again. Upon the case hitting the ground, it broke apart. The back cover came off and the battery came out. I simply had to snap it all back together but I feel it should have held a bit stronger.The belt clip is fine, easy to insert and remove the phone, in its correct orientation. When you want to view a video, or Netflix, or whatever, the phone does not snap into the holster with the screen side out (unless I am doing something incorrectly) which basically renders the kickstand feature of the holster useless. If you are able to MacGyver the phone to stay in the holster screen side out, the kickstand has no angle adjustment and the phone is standing at an almost vertical angle. Not pleasant.UNU, send me your products for beta testing before production :-)

Battery works great and holds a long charge. I'm very pleased with it. The only problem I have is that although the battery case and holder are bundled together, the holder does not fit when the extra battery case is added. If they are bundled together wouldn't you just figure that they would be compatible? Nope. You only can use the holder if you don't use the battery pack. Waste of additional money. Oh well. I'm happy with the battery life any ways. Just don't get the bundle.

I ordered this from Amazon on March 2, 2015. About three weeks ago the belt clip, which was cheap to begin with, broke. the tab that holds the phone in just snapped off under normal use. The belt clip itself was poorly designed and would sometimes not close completely around the belt. After it fell off the belt a couple of times I learned to instinctively feel to make sure it was secure. I liked having the phone on my belt but I could live without the belt clip. What I really needed was the double juice the battery pack gave me which allowed me to get through the whole day without needing to charge my phone. The battery pack wasn't too bulky but would easily pop off if the phone was dropped. I could live with that too since the phone never suffered any damage when dropped. But a few days ago my phone displayed a message that I needed to use a Samsung charger in order to charge the phone (I was). None of my chargers would charge the phone. The culprit ended up being the Unu battery. It had died. In all, I had used it for about five weeks. I had been forced to switch from an iPhone to a Samsung by my company. I used a Mophie juice pack on the iPhone and it is a fantastic design and works extremely well. If the Mophie is a 10 then the Unu is about a 4 in design comparison. But the fact that the battery died after only five weeks use makes it a rip-off product. I just checked the return policy and I only had until April 7, 2015 to return it. Don't buy this. It's poorly made and has obvious quality control issues. I'm going back to Mophie.

Love this case. I had this product for about a year now and still works great. Battery last about a day and a half with normal usage. If your on this thing constantly listening to music playing games etc. you can get a good full day of battery life and wont have to plug in till you go to sleep. Love it and diffidently look into getting same type of case with my next phone.

This is one of the best fitting battery cases you can buy for the Galaxy S5. It's thinner than most of the other brands. The belt clips works well, but the kickstand feature is useless. The battery works great and looks nice on the phone.
