Good tooling
Only used it on six bodies so far, but still sharp, straight shank, consistent cuts, no tear-out (good wood, and good router discipline helps), and comes with a useful range of guide bearing diameters, decent quality for various depth binding.

Perfect!
I tried a different bit from a guitar supply that left marks on the guitar sides. This bit was absolutely great! 3 flutes cut cross grain like butter. Left a beautiful ,perfect binding slot. Saved my guitar project.

Great binding rabbet router bit for building stringed instruments
I use mine for cutting the rabbets for decorative edge binding on my hand built ukuleles. The smaller diameter makes this a safer and better option for use with a hand-held trim router. Quality appears to be good on this. Would recommend to others.

No bearing for 0.06" material
Leaves an immaculate surface. Small issue, but 0.06" binding from Stew Mac fell between two bearing sizes. Had to scrape almost 1/3rd of the thickness off. I just need to find a source for metric binding.

Makes perfect cuts
This makes binding and purfling channels a snap to rout. I was using a Dremel tool before and often got tearout and varying channel widths.
