Great book set, comes with 3 books. Good reading for 3/4th grader. Judy Moody is a smart elementary school girl. Stories tell of her life, adventures, friendships. Her family and school life are relatable to elementary aged kids and comical. Keeps my kids reading! Great gift, books come in a decorative book box. Nice quality.

My friend daughter loves to read and just had to gift her this set of books so she can continue reading and learning.

I always get my kids something to read for Christmas, which may not always spark excitement right away, but it ends up being worth it. Well when my 7 year old daughter opened this pack on Christmas she lit up with excitement! Judy Moody is such a good choice for little ones that love to read. Since Christmas, she's half way through book one already and can't seem to put it down! I stri gly recommend this set!

My daughter is six and is frustrated that as she gets older the books have less pictures and are not as fun to read (her own words). She hasn't put this book set down yet. She has one that she's reading and walks around with the other two all day long. It's a beginnger chapter book so not difficult to read, pictures are peppered throughout and she likes that and most of all, the books are funny. She reads and laughs throughout the day - totally engaged. I'm so happy I found a book series that she likes better than watching TV. Now I have to find something similar for my 8 year old...

This was a spectacular book. I am almost 9 years old. I read the whole thing in two days! I would recommend this book for girls who like it when you are expecting something to happen but everything turns around and is completely different. I would totally recommend you to read this book and enjoy everything about it.

Classic book series. I enjoyed reading as a child and now my daughter feels the same.

I bought this for my niece, who just turned eight. This is her first chapter book and she is really enjoying it. Judy can be a little 'moody' and up to no good at times. I explained that Judy is a character, not real, like many of the characters on her favorite tv shows. I told to enjoy the humor of the stories, but to not actually behave like her. She understood and is really enjoying the stories. And is very excited to tell her teacher that she read her first chapter book while on holiday break.

We loved the 3 books in this collection. My daughter is 6 years old and learning to read. She cannot read these by herself yet. But we love reading together a few chapters each night, just before going to sleep. The stories are funny and nice enough to keep her attention focused yet they are not boring and not too simple for her to lose interest. It's even fun for mom to read! We're looking forward to reading more Judy Moody books.
