Bought this to fill gap after getting rid of table and bench seat as needed more storage space. Really love this, fits in perfectly and can be moved around easily if needed. Great quality. Fairly easy to assemble - good instructions.

This looks great in my kitchen and perfect for those needing extra storage. I do not usually write reviews but my partner asked me to for this item. He said he has put together lots of flat packed furniture in the past and this was by far the easiest and best experience. Packaged really well, all pieces labelled and instructions very clear and easy to follow. Would recommend

The finished product is solid, looks great and is much better than I expected. the initial delivery went missing, the seller offered either a refund or replacement, we opted for the replacement. It arrived 4 days later in two boxes which are heavy, one of these was damaged, but the packaging protected all the materials in the boxes. It took about 3 hours to get the structure of the kitchen unit built and a further 2 hours to complete doors, shelves and drawers. Both boxes had a copy of the instructions which proved useful, I used one as reference for parts and the other as instructions. There are a lot of parts so best to lay them out, All wooden parts have number stickers on them, screws(etc) are in lettered bags. We had no missing parts and a few spares (yippee) The instructions initially appear daunting, but they are easy to follow if you stick to the sequence laid out and take a thorough look at the diagrams(which are small) to get all parts(dowels/screws) and orientation. It helps to have someone to hold bits when being screwed etc. In the past I have had some bad experiences with flat packed furniture, not this product it went together well, is solid, looks great and has exceeded my expectations. I have scored it 4 stars due to initial delivery issues which might be harse.

Needed a wee bit more storage and worktop space n our kitchen after modernisation and this is just what we needed. Took my time, seperated all screws, fixings etc , counted to make sure all was good and then laid all the parts in the order I needed to assemble them in . That took about 40 minutes app so then ready for assembly. Dowels in place, pieces mated perfectly , secured all parts and everything is as expected, "Secure" :) All parts are , in my view, excellent quality and the outcome is a lovely wee bit of furniture. At first I was a bit worried as no wheels had a brake but the reality is that it sits where it should without the need for a brake :) Lovely finish to the panels and pieces which adds to the look of the unit. We both thought long and hard as to whether it would be a good buy or not and the result is , yes, it is an extremely good buy. Now to get rid of the cardboard and polystyrene packaging :)

Absolutely perfect! I love it! It has great storage and has hidden wheels so the whole island can be moved around easily even on a rug. I love the extendable worktop which is perfect for a breakfast bar or just having dinner on especially when you don’t have a big property for a dining table. It’s probably the best purchase ever. I wish I had it sooner. I love it. It elevates the kitchen so much and I live looking at the kitchen. So strong and sturdy. Great quality. You get two spacious drawers and to cupboards underneath which is so handy for items. I decided to not have one shelf in on one side so that I could fit larger items like washing powder boxes and stuff which is perfect for storing. I genuinely love it. There isn’t one like this with these exact features I like on the market such as hidden wheels double cupboard or extendable worktop at the great size it comes in so extremely pleased with this purchase. I highly highly recommend this to everyone!

For the money, this is a great product. Flat packed it took me a good couple of hours to assemble. One thing to remember is decide if you want the side towel rail fitted or not because if you change your mind later you cannot get to the back screws after assembly. There are also no 'blanking' plugs for the holes which even if you do fit the rail the other end needs them. Drawers and cupboards are a great asset as there is plenty of room for storage of anything. The wheels make it easily moveable and are not seen. They don't retract. All together a good quality product for the price and really looks good and matches the rest of the kitchen well. UPDATE: Since buying, I have removed the top complete and replaced it with a piece of oak worktop to match the rest of the kitchen. I got it precut about about 15 inches longer either end and it now doesn't drop down. Looks brilliant. Also makes it more stable although it was ok before.

This was easy to put together as instructions were simple, does take a bit of time, but well worth it. Looks amazing when up and plenty of space in sturdy cupboards and drawers

The packaging was strong and there was no damage to the items in the pack from poor delivery handling. All the pieces were present in one of the 2 packs, all the items were clearly itemised in the instructions then labelled with cross-referenced numbers or letters. There were also extra screws and an extra door hinge which were useful. It suggested in the instructions that it would take 1 person 1 hour; it was more like 2 people 5 hours. For us the difficult bits were Instruction 5 which meant manouvering top and bottom drawer frames with the back of the drawers and the dividing strut; Instruction 11 when the drawer runners were fitted to the cabinet frame (these had to be taken off and refitted) and instruction 14 when we found the pre-drilled holes for doors 17 were not in the correct place and had to be newly drilled to fit. When it was complete it looks even better than I hoped it would: it's a robust cabinet with good storage, a lovely top and sturdy castors allowing it to move around the kitchen. Worth the hard work - a good looking island for a competitive price.
