Really useful. Takes away the guesswork when cooking meat.

I used less than a month, steam got inside of it and stopped working.

Ive had one of these before from a different supplier and it worked well. Not as speedily reactive as a thermapen but very cheap and compact and you can change the battery. (I killed my original one by eventually leaning against it and a worktop)This one left a bit to be desired. It worked twice then gave up the ghost. Swapped the battery for the spare but it didn't work at all. Not got new batteries so hopefully it is just that with it having worked the first time but my old one lasted on the first set of batteries for a year and a half and I'm a pastry chef so used it heavily during 18hr days and constantly bashed it around in my pockets so not sure if its just defective.

Purchased December last year, to replace my existing one, which is 5 years old. Changed batteries just doesn't work correctly. Slow to reach the temperature and provides inaccurate reading.
