This beautiful book shares stories, nuances and a detailed procedure for anyone who is willing to take up the practice of chanting this mantra. Like most of Om Swami's books, this one too is a breezy read, but it leaves you with a treasure. Worth every page, every word and your, the reader's, time :) Happy reading.

Swamiji has beautifully explained how to practice Gayatri Mantra Sadhana correctly, along with the various ways to do it. This book is a must-read, as it provides deep insights into every aspect of Sadhana. You may also consider reading The Ancient Science of Mantra, which offers further understanding of the power and practice of mantras.

Om Swami has nicely explained the process of invoking the mantra. But i don't know how many people would be able to do it in the modern city life which keeps bringing unexpected changes. And it will be very tough to maintain the kind of lifestyle while doing the invocation. But if somebody can manage to follow the procedure, i hope he will be benefitted as promised. As far as people like me are concerned, meditation will suit them better. Meditation process is simple, it doesn't require too many rituals or accessories, and it doesn't require faith too. And it's benefits are immense.

Never knew that Gayatri Mantra is so powerful. The more you chant selflessly the more she will reveal to us. In my experience, I could feel here presence in the intuition. Suggestion: 1.Read only one chapter a day. 2. Decide a time and start chanting the mantra. 3. Have no expectations! 4. Pray for the Mother Gayatri's love, grace and guidance to worldly and the spiritual aspects of life. Wish you all the best! This is a gift to anyone wishing to partake in mantra sadhana. There is, in depth instructions on how when and where to practice mantra, so that one can benefit From the mantra and gain palpable results. Thank you OM Swami. I go to a temple very often and have joined aarti many times and have attended many pujas at my friends and relatives but never understood all those puja steps, this book has made crystal clear those steps. Thank you Swami Ji.

He has illustrated the steps and asks us to the best ways to follow. He repeatedly tells us about how important it is to get absorbed by it and u should be incessantly chanting it with full awareness. Remains silence about people who has already heard the Gayatri mantra from guru during “ brathamandha” ceremony which Brahmin kids do while they are kids. Do they still follow all steps?

I have been doing Gayatri Sadhana as instructed by Swamiji for 4 months now. It works. The steps he has given are so thorough and will definitely bring results if you do them properly. The book is a great addition to The Ancient Science of Mantras and I strongly recommend it to anyone who is interested in Gayatri Sadhana.
