This is great. The frame fits in the Tower Kamado XL. It has two half moon heat deflectors and two half moon grills which can go on two different levels

It fits well and does its job. What more could you ask for? Well made as well.

Fits a 21 inch kamado (18 inch grill area) perfect. Thickness of heat deflectors is a great. Does there job perfectly. May not last forever but is good to value for money

Broadly speaking, this works well. I use this with my MasterBuild classic Kamado (not a Kamado Joe, but from the same parent company, so accessories work across brands fine). The purpose of this is to more easily allow dual zone cooking and more versatility - you can cook with half a ceramic divider in and half out, so you get half the grill set up for indirect cooking and the other half set for direct cooking, which is great if you want to cook different things at the same time or if you want to start indirect and want to move to direct later. It can also be used with other Kamado Joe accessories such as the half moon cast iron grill etc, so lots of options for versatility. You can also have different level cooking zones, so you could have a grill close to the coals next to the divider and the other half above the divider. I haven't used the KJ version, so not sure how the build quality compares - my only complaint is that the half moon grills don't sit perfectly on the frame, and they can be slightly precarious moving stuff about (its also possible to dislodge the half grill from the top of the frame if you are too aggressive moving stuff, which can lead to lost food, which isnt great). If you dont want to spend the money on the official KJ version, this is a solid option, if possibly not quite as good, it more or less does the job!

Purchased this for my kamado mifire 21 , this is a perfect fit , heavy duty grates

I received this yesterday for my Materbuild Kamado and couldn't believe the build quality! Yes the deflector plates are a bit thinner than you would get from Kamado Joe but seem to be more than enough to do their job. The half moon grills and rack are very robust and way thicker than I expected. I have a KJ divide & conquer rack already and I can't tell the difference between the two. The grill s are the same thickness so are heavy and solid. I had my concerns about how good the quality would be but I am over the moon with this. Time will tell if the deflectors last but on my first cook (beer can chicken) at 350f they have worked magnificently. I total recommend this to anyone who has any doubts like I did. Delivered quickly (2 days) and packaged extremely well. Top marks from me.

I bought a Masterbuilt classic Kamado and although the shell and fire basket are the same as the Kamado Joe Classic 2, the grill system feels like it’s off a £20 bbq. No way of adjusting, and the cast iron half moon grates I bought are useless as they won’t fit But aside from the obvious benefits of the divide and Conquer system, I must say the biggest benefit is being able to put the 2 half moon grills (and also the main rack) in the washing machine. No more scrubbing the dirty grates and getting black greasy hands. Put on a hot wash and it comes out sparkling. Amazing. The wire parts are the same diameter as the Kamado Joe original but the heat deflector is around 30% thinner. I haven’t noticed a difference in performance so far but I mainly use the original full piece stone when I’m cooking low and slow

One of the heat deflectors split clean in half on first use. Used on a low and slow smoke of 110c and it’s cracked and split. Now only have one deflector plate. Owned less than one week.
