Q: I have a garage and i have to renew the lock, is that suitable for the door?

if you want a heavy duty hasp and staple fitting this one is excellent. I fitted to a new shed door after low lives broke into my shed by breaking the old hasp this one is in different class. I have mine bolted on as well for extra security.

Q: what size are the bolt through fixings? E.g. M6, M8 ?

Bolts are 5cms long and approx 5 mm thick. Frame is very heavy and although not yet fitted looks exceptionally good quality. Hope this helps.

As the picture shows, yes there should be a hasp and staple for you to put your pad lock through, there was with mine, contact amazon and complain. Was this helpful?
