I got a sample of this cleaner with the machine I bought locally. I normally used cheaper rug cleaner but this time that free sample they included earned them a customer for life. This stuff cleans old dirt like a breeze and smells nice. There was no wet dog or cat smell while doing rugs or even the next day. Dont let the quart size throw you. Its powerful and you use about a cup per batch with my cleaner. Great value when you can use less and get better results. We cleaned my high traffic, grandkids eat in, 15x20 livingroom and 15x20 dinningroom and still have some left. I wasn't even planning to clean the dinningroom before Thanksgiving but we had some formula left in the clean solution tank and decided to use it up instead of letting the water get cold or just set. 1 pass cleaned up so much and made the rug look so nice we finished the room and the light blue rug looks 10x better. I used to use a rug dr but its sprayer broke over a year ago. The Bissell was on sale so I got one. Its SO much lighter , the rotating brush scrubs GREAT, and its easily maneuverable. The tank is smaller so takes more refills but cleans better with less water so averages out. If you have pets or kids I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this
