They do have lids so you could potentially put hard boiled eggs in them. Personally, I’d leave the hard boiled eggs in their shells and then put them into the containers.

Certainly you can store your eggs in the cartons from the store. That is your choice. I like the way these containers look better than egg cartons from the store and I like being able to see them. If you want to use the cartons they come in fine, don't buy these.

I I think they are. They say don't freeze them and hand wash or top rack wash. With those restrictions, I would wonder because I'm pretty sure they came from China.
