I don't usually do reviews but this was a big purchase, and everyone else's reviews helped me land on this item.I scoured reviews for something sturdy and extra tall. I ended up picking this one, for the price over some of the floor-to-ceiling tension style trees, which i cant find good quality for less than $120, as well as all the great reviews.I rent, but the house is old, and the 2 holes can be filled easily. I was surprised which cat made it all the way up first (my shy girl).Anyways it's super sturdy, low profile, adjustable, and visually functional (i really wanted something "modern"). It's installed over carpet and I did have to stand on the base while drilling the first stabilizer in so that the bottom sisal pole wouldn't float and move around. Then after, you put the rest together and drill the top. This was very clear in my instructions, but I see some people didnt receive those, so just a bit of advice!! The steps aren't the biggest but my cats do just fine sitting on them, climbing the tree, and im going to put a lounging shelf up near the top so they do have somewhere to lay.Happy climbing!

Very easy to install. One of our kitties likes to sleep on my daughters loft bed. But he meows to pick him up to the bed. Then in the middle of the night, he needed help to get down since he is not used to jump from loft bed. The loft bed has a ladder, but her doesn't use that to step down to jump either. So I ordered this cat tree as a solution. Now my daughter picks him up onto her bed but he doesn't need any help getting down. So my daughter can keep sleeping. Eventually he will figure out to climb up the tree to get on her bed : ) It is installed in a very narrow spot next to a loft bed. The tree is slim enough and also the steps could be swung out to any position. Very happy with the purchase !

It's a really great tree and looks so much nicer than the typical cat trees covered in carpet (yuck). My cat is about 12 lbs and it did take a little getting used to as the steps are not super wide - that's the only reason I took one star off - I think they could make these a couple of inches wider. If you have a very large cat, they may not be able to fit and climb as easily. Just took mine a few trys of getting up and down but now he loves it. Very high quality and great price compared to other climbing wall products out there.

I wasn’t super happy with this purchase at first, it took my cats 2-3 weeks to become interested in the cat tower. But I’m glad I waited, now they LOVE scratching and running up the tower, chasing each other around the platforms.Be slow and mindful during setup and install properly, and the tower will be sturdy and stable while your cats jump on and off. Its really tall, which is great because they love to sit up high.

Why have a cat tree any shorter than your ceiling?? It enables cats to really climb, instead of just jump onto a platform or two. My cat also loves to scratch the post at all levels of this cat tree. I recommend!

I’ve been working on getting items for making a cat wall. Some of the things I returned because they were poor quality and cheaply made.Not this one. I absolutely would buy it again. It’s extremely stable and sturdy. It has solid, good materials. My one cat took to it instantly, and he’s usually the cautious one.Highly recommended.

I love this cat tree/pole but it was not easy to assemble. For starters, some of the instructions are wrong but the biggest issue is that one of the pieces that attaches to the wall (see circled area in picture) is behind one of the poles, so there is no way to get a drill or screwdriver in the couple of inches that are accessible. I "solved" this by screwing the top piece into the wall and using construction glue on the other piece. We'll see how this holds up when my very active cat starts jumping on it. They send you the drill bit along with the mounting hardware, which was a nice surprise.UPDATE 1: The seller contacted me and sent a picture of instructions that show how to attach the item to the wall. If only these had been the instructions in my box, that would have been a big help! Hopefully my issue was a one-off and others receive the correct instructions.UPDATE 2: My kitty won't go near this thing. It has a strange smell, which is what I am guessing is the problem. Hopefully the smell will dissipate in time and he'll come around.
