Redline Tuning 21-11035-03 Hood QuickLIFT Elite Bolt-in System Compatible with Ford Mustang 2015-2023 (Stainless Steel Struts)

I absolutely love my Super Snake, love the 840 HP motor with the polished Whipple; which makes me open my hood fairly often. But that darn "hood prop" had to go! I ordered the QuikLift Elite hood shocks and received them with a prompt shipping. Put on the parts, which was very easy with the great instruction sheet. Now the stainless steel shocks lets me open the hood with ease and stay up. The polished Whipple and the SS hood shocks look good together! No I can show off the engine compartment and work under the hood (polishing and cleaning) without the interference of that antiquated hood prop.

Simple installation, great design. 2019 Mustang with stock hood. Seems Ford planned for similar lifts because the lower mounting points looks designed for this mounting system. Works great. I gave 4 stars because the hood brackets rely on their extended length to support the hood and they are not secured at the end or braced to reduce flex. One of the brackets needed to be tweaked so it contacted the hood. There is still some flex/bounce when the hood reaches full open. High quality kit though and no more prop rod!

Once I got the fender brackets through fender holes it was a snap to install! Had a hard time with the fender bracket foot (tight tolerance), called customer service (owner answered), he confirmed I had the right parts, providing suggestions to install. The battery cover template was high quality, included a drill bit, so the installation was quick and easy! Excellent product & customer service! FORD should use them as a supplier and add them as OEM stock!

Why the mustang doesn’t come stock with these is beyond me.I have had the same elite struts on my GT500, and my GT350. Got these for my wife’s 2019 GT premium.Easy to install and look great.

Like many here , I grew tired of the prop rod for my hood. After looking at quite a few reviews I chose this one. I like the finish and fit. I couldn’t see getting a black painted set as manufacturers seem to paint everything black these days. As someone who grew up in the 70/80’s I don’t care for the paint everything black fad. Other than looking good they work well too and would recommend this product to anyone.
