Man why a wiring so short?
This must be the best iron I have ever own. Glide withe ease, a bit on a heavy side, and the steam is ok when using on the ironing table, not really powerful enough for up-right use.But guys!!! Why is the wire so short !!! I can't hardly goes to the end of my ironing table. Therefore I have to use an extension to be able to iron with ease, doesn't make this appliance very safe, make sure to have your extension fused.

Good design
Good iron, does not steam as well as our last one but is smaller in both weight and size.Nicely designed .Gets to a good temperature and holds a nice amount of water so expect that to produce more steam.Glides nicely across all item that are being ironed.

Quick, efficient iron
Really good iron. At the moment, no issues. The only slight thing is that I'd prefer the cable a bit longer but it's not a big problem. Irons quickly. I am much happier.

Room for improvement.
A very good Iron for doing the ironing, however, the cord is a little short and the plug difficult to grasp when pulling out of the socket. Also, the grip of the handle is smooth and slippy, particularly if using hand cream, and would be better by being textured.

Philips 7000 steam iron
Good iron at Amazon discounted price is easy to use and very efficient on varied items from shirts through trousers to curtains. Like many modern irons is large compared to old ones but does have a good limescale filter. Weight is not much different. Also has a good flexing cable connection. Only issue I have is that with large hands it is very easy to catch heat setting dial when picking it up during ironing and inadvertently changing setting, in my case always turning it down to cooler setting; that needs getting used to.
