This stuff tastes exactly like a little shot of chocolate pudding, which was a pleasant surprise - and honestly makes it way easier to take than most energy gels. It’s a small amount of gel for a good amount of energy - I use one before roller derby practice and it gives me the boost I need without upsetting my stomach or tasting like regret. Buying the bulk packs makes it way more affordable but the price is well worth it for the energy boost.Great texture, great taste, and it actually works. Can’t ask for much more in a gel!

I love that this flavor it's not overwhelmingly sweet, which have been my biggest issue with gel packs in the past. The texture is as to be expected and the quality if great. Had not problems ripping it open during a race and I would say it's a great value for the money. Would recommend to those who like fruity flavours but had feeling like gaging from all the sugar when eating them in a race.

My son sent me these, we're both fitness people, he's a runner, I'm a cyclist.I eat one before my bike ride and it definitely gives me more pep, I think it even makes me go faster, although I might be imagining it.Taste good, a little expensive, but that's OK.I keep a supply all the time now and eat one before each bike ride.Treat yourself to these if you're serious athlete. You'll be happy you did.

This is my favorite flavor. They really help during the run and are easy to open and go down easily. Some of the flavors are thicker and can be difficult. I don't have anyway of proving it but I see an improvement in my times and recovery when I use GU during my runs.

I purchased the orange cream Roctane before, and I decided to try this since the Roctane worked so well. While the results were similar-- helped me stay awake for a little while longer-- the taste was more intense this time. At first I thought it tasted like chocolate pudding, then the fructose kicked in and I was wishing I had a carton of milk because it reminded me of chocolate syrup. This would actually be pretty good as an ingredient in a super caffeinated mocha, but straight out of the packet it was too much for me.

I always keep at least one of these caffeinated guys in my bag. The caffeine is just right to keep you going but not cranked. It's is balanced against the other ingredients so you can have one now, and have one in an hour after cranking up a mountain on a bike and your sugars and caffeine will stay nicely balanced. I'm glad the price for GU is still good.

Tastes like chocolate pudding!All I've heard from the running community about gels is that they're so disgusting and you just have to choke them down. I'm training for a marathon right now and since there will be GU gels available at the race, figured I needed to incorporate them into my long runs. Went with the chocolate flavor because it was on sale (I'm more of a fruity girl so this was a risk). Well I tried these today during my 17 mile long run and all I could say was WOOOOW! This was like having dessert on my run! It was a sweet, silky, delicious chocolate pudding in a compact, easy to carry tube. If anything it tasted too good, I just wanted more immediately!I didn't necessarily feel any kick of energy, but my muscles kept working and I didn't hit a wall. That's all you can ask for, I think. I took a total of 2 gels and ate a banana. Great combo!They didn't hurt my stomach at all. I have a stronger than average stomach I'd say, so probably don't take my word for it unless you're the same.Overall, I highly recommend!

Whoa! What’s in this stuff? lol! I’ve been having the best workouts. They haven’t been this good since my bodybuilding days. I’m 58 now and I’m getting crazy pumps by taking this before my workouts and my muscle tone seems to be increasing in just a week! It’s not like I drank an energy drink/pre workout it’s more of a consistent stamina injection that allows me to workout for a solid 1 and a half to 2 hours straight without fatigue. The berry flavor is my favorite. I look forward to consuming this convenient little packet!
