I am in love with my new knives. I had a set of gold silverware that was past down to me a while ago that I recently began to use. I wanted my knife set to match and this did not disappoint. All the knives are very sharp and of good quality. This set had everything I was looking for. The holder is perfect size and doesn't take up too much space on my counter. I also love that it coms with a built in sharper. I have not used it yet, but it seems very easy and convenient to use.

This was one of the WORST value purchases I've ever made in my life. I've put off writing this review for a while, but never forgot it in the back of my mind, lol.I read the care instructions after opening, and then held one of them under the faucet for a light, nice little rinse before using. You know, to clean it. And when I say a light rinse, I mean a LIGHT rinse. IMMEDIATELY the gold color started to come off. Some of the other knives fared a little better, but all of them became splotchy with color-loss. One of the big reasons I chose these was for the color. How is one supposed to clean these at all? Worst of all, are these knives even safe for use if the color coating is just going to come off onto my food while cutting anything wet, like fruit? Unfortunately, I couldn't return these because they I missed the cutoff by the time I came back from vacation and opened them, but this was a huge waste of money. I recently brought them to my parents' house and they suggested even throwing them away because they don't feel safe cutting things when the coating could theoretically rub off on food.

Otherwise it is clearly a 5 knifes are sharp, cut well and pretty. The scissors work really well. Just wish I could clean in dishwasher.

I waited a while to find just the right black and gold knife set. This set is perfect and looks lovely in my kitchen. They also work very well. The knives are sharp and cut well. It’s worth the affordable price.
