It works hard.
I used this yeast to make a country wine. The wine was very spirit like wine that has a superb after burn.

I think it would ferment anything thrown at it!
worked a treat on a rice wine and a mango wine that struggled to keep going.i'm glad i tried it as it solved my ferment problem.

Excellent turbo yeast
Excellent quick service, will definitely use again. Nice turbo yeast- extremely fast acting. Fermented my wine in just 1 week.

Perfect for high alcohol but not for flavour. Rocket fuel.
If your looking or high alcohol content this is the yeast for the job, if your looking for flavour in your brew then it's not the one. The yeast is fantastic at turning sugar to high abv alcohol content but I wouldn't recommend for a mead, made three batches with three pouches one 25l of mead, high alcohol taste definately needs nutrients to help fermentation.Tried 1 sachet with inverted syrup and lemon, (5L) still tasted like starved yeast with a chemically taste.Next sachet was with jam rendered down with pectolase (5L), It was the exact same flavour as the inverted syrup and the mead. You will definately have to back sweeten

The media could not be loaded. This stuff is great. It was going like the clappers within an hour of mixing in. After 2 days it has slowed to the usual rate. Very pleased with this Turbo Black Label yeast.

Fantastic
Fantastic product, fast acting and the nicest homemade wine I've ever made. This yeast is a must for home brewers. Fermentation took 10 days as opposed to 6 weeks using bread yeast
