John Lee Hooker is one of the great blues musicians of the twentieth century; this is a fantastic CD and a wonderful introduction to his music. Recorded very late in his career this CD benefits from some fantastic collaborators including Albert Collins, Jimmy Vaughn.Much more upbeat and polished than much of his earlier material this CD still manages to get to the heart of John Lee Hooker.
