Very easy to use. We heat the milk in the microwave and then froth it, need to make sure to insert the frother all the way under the milk before turning it on, also have to turn it off before removing it from the cup so not to have milk all over. Easy to clean. I brought one on my vacation to visit my aunt and I had to leave it since she loved it, then I had to order about 5 more (so far) for others in the family since everytime one of them visit her and she makes them Cafe con Leche, they asked for one, got to mention, they are all in their 80s. They really love their coffee now. 😊 These are better since they have and on and off switch, other frothers you have to keep pressing the button to keep it on while frothing, they turn off when you release it, these stay on until you turn it off, no need to keep pressing it, better for elders to use. Another suggestion, better to use a big ceramic mug or glass meassuring cup to microwave and then froth in it.

The plastic felt flimsy at first but it starts loose to allow the batteries to fit well. It was confusing to get the frother to start and know whether I needed to hold the switch or just turn it on to keep the motor going. I made whipped cream really easily with this. I don’t suggest using it for prolonged amounts of time because the motor will eventually overheat and shut off.

I wasn’t sure what to expect for $4, but this thing is really just fine for that price. Idk if it would do well on whisking eggs, but I put all kinds of syrups and powders in cream and it does pump my experimental contents with air adding aroma and texture to my coffee experience. Here’s how I use: Make ur add-in sweetener that u wanna froth in ur mug first. Then add just enough coffee to be .5-1” liquid. Whisk that till it’s puffy with bubbles, like 30 secs. Then pour more hot coffee into one spot so as to disturb the least amount of bubbles when pouring. I love that this gadget lets me mix any liquid, syrup, and/or powder together for a foam that adds flavor and texture to my cup. Pumpkin pie spice, nutmeg, caramel drizzle…Im a regular ole scientist. I do wish there was a cap cover for the agitator end. It doesn’t sit upright, so I lay it beside the sink to dry and rest it beside the coffee maker. I need a $1 stand for my $4 milk frother.

I opened this to see how the batteries would go in, and carrying it to where I keep the batteries, a small somewhat rectangular metal piece fell out. Looking inside the unit, I could only guess where it should go, and how to get it in there. I saw a slot of sorts on the switch side, so I dropped it in and after putting batteries in it, was amazed that it worked. Why that part was so loose and not secured better is anyone's guess. I now have troubles with the switch, moving it back and forth, trying to get this to turn on, and then to turn off when I'm finished with it. I think I have it turned off, and lift it out of my cup, only to get another burst while it's out of my cup, spraying coffee everywhere! Sadly, I am not impressed with how flimsy this is. Yes, the blending power, relative ease of use and cleaning are all great, but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, with my experience after first unboxing it. I've shopped another unit to replace it, and this one goes in the trash once I receive it. It's not worth trying to return for another unit, not if they're made like this.

After about a week i had to contantly readjust the batteries to get it to work. Within 4 weeks it completely died. I know these are inexpensive and will eventually break, but a month? I had my last one for at least 2 years. DO NOT BUY

I was a little skeptical considering the very reasonable price, but due to other reviewers who seemed to have wondered the same thing but still bought it and love it, I gave it a try. This little guy works GREAT! I think the lesser price may be due to the fact that it doesn't come with batteries. No big deal! I use it to mix green tea powder and pomegranate powder as well. It just goes for it...good power. It is a breeze to clean....no parts to fool with ...just rinse it with hot water & soap if you want... and it's done. I also like the fact that it stands up on it's own.... is easy to store and takes up almost no space. I am really glad I bought it. It makes mixing, and/or frothing, a snap. Very quiet too, especially when compared to my stick blender with the frother attachment . That thing is a lot of trouble to put together and take apart and fiddle with. With this one, you are done in a couple of seconds. Nothing to take apart or put back together. I certainly recommend this product.
