Ignite: A Devil Chaser's Romance (A Devil Chaser's MC Romance) Review: Series Keeps Getting Better - This book is fantastic! The series just keeps getting better and this book is my favorite in the series. This book focuses on yummy Goliath and feisty Lily. Lily has arrived from Washington state with her 11 month old nephew. His mom, Lily's sister died of a drug overdose and Lily's mom tells Lily to leave the state to hide the baby because the baby's dad is a no good biker who would harm the baby. Lily runs to Tennessee because she is Tess's cousin (Tess and her man Bishop, the Prez of the Devils Chasers MC are featured in the 1st book of the series). Lily runs into Goliath, the VP. of the DC MC, and sparks immediately fly, but not the good kind. Bishop gave Lily a job in the MC's bar to help her out and Goliath is immediately smitten with Lily but doesn't want her to work in the bar bc he's afraid the other MC brethren will come onto to her. They have this heavy sexual tension between the two of them, which they both try to fight, but can't resist. Goliath is my new MC boyfriend, he is alpha but not too controlling, clearly respects and likes Lily's independence and spunk. He's also mature, doesn't play games and knows what he wants and goes all out to get it: Lily. Lily also is mature for her age; she's only 24 and has experienced some strife in her life, but she doesn't let that hold her back, she also is willing to look at her own baggage and be open to changing her views about bikers. Add into the equation Goliath's clear love and affection for the baby, and you have a unique story of a man and a woman who learn to trust their hearts and burgeoning love for each other and for the baby. The book really shows you that what makes a family is not bloodlines but love lines. There is nothing about this book that you won't love. Good character development, great, realistic plot and great intro of secondary characters to segue way into the next book. The love scenes are hot and steamy but what I love about the book is that the focus is on the developing relationship between Goliath and Lily. The sex scenes complement rather than dominate the story. I wanted this book to be about Courtney and Bobby, but I'm so glad the author focused on Goliath and Lily instead. She has found her voice and the heart and soul of the characters. I can't wait to read the next book!!! Review: Goliath & Lily learn about love when least expected - Ignite (Devil Chaser’s MC #3) By: L. Wilder 4/5 stars Lily’s life changed in an instant when she learned that her sister died. Now, she has to take care of and protect her nephew, John Warren from his father, and in doing so, she has to leave her home, her job, and the state of Washington. But she’s headed to see her cousin Tessa, Bishop’s Old Lady, in Tennessee. Luckily, Tessa has thought of almost everything needed for Lily and John Warren. Tessa got a house set-up, things for both John Warren & Lily and a job at the bar in the Devil Chaser’s clubhouse. Goliath, the VP of the Devil Chaser’s MC, takes one look at the new hottie behind the bar and knows that she shouldn’t be there exuding her air of innocence and kind, tender-heartedness. But he had no idea the impact that Lily would have on his life, and how she would change his beliefs and thinkings about having a wife and building a family. Goliath has some family issues that he has to get over so that he can see that it is worth the risk to open his heart & let Lily in. This is a good fast paced read. But I would have preferred for more background behind Goliath and more behind Lily. I think whatever happened between Lily’s parents when she was a child and now since she’s been living in Tennessee would have been beneficial as well. I would have like to have seen Goliath’s brother’s life & situation come to light. I would have liked more story behind Maverick, but maybe that is being saved for a spin-off book. It seemed like every little issue was all brought to the front & resolved quickly without much story or explanation behind it. The biggest issue was left unresolved, and will probably be the storyline for the next book, which seems as though it will be Bobby & Courtney’s book. In think book, we did get to see Bishop & Tessa, Renegade & Taylor and Bobby & Courtney. These couples were still just a fun, loyal and loving as in their previous books and we will see more of them in the upcoming books.

Quick read and very entertaining
Since I've lived the life before, I always enjoy reading books about motorcycle clubs and how things work. This is a great book about one club that is so loyal to each other its almost inspiring. Lily is the young woman who is charged with the care of her nephew when her sister dies. For whatever reason Lily's mother tells her to take the baby and run. She does just that, she drives to Tennessee to protect the baby and to go to work for her cousin in the biker bar. The very instant that Goliath enters the bar, the VP of the club, he stakes a claim on Lily, whether he admits it or not. It takes a while for him to come to terms with his claim. Then he has to convince Lily who can be a spitfire at times. And the story developes from there. There are several twists and turns to the plot, the baby, John Warren's father finds out he has a baby, he never knew and comes to claim the child from Lily. That was a surprise. No spoilers but there is a happily ever after to the book. All things get worked out at the end except..... and the story continues in the next book.

This was my first book by Wilder and am very much impressed. Ignite can be read standalone as this is where I began in series and was not lost at all. Lily is handed her baby nephew and told to run and keep him safe and she runs straight into Goliath from Devil Chasers MC they make for an interesting couple with lots of laughs and tears throughout. It's an amazing read.

I thoroughly THOROUGHLY enjoyed reading Ignite!! Sexy badass biker ~ check Feisty Redhead bartender ~ check A gorgeous baby to melt even the toughest of hearts ~ check check check Ignite ticked all the right boxes for me nothing like a good romance to get the emotions running. Goliath and Lily's story is the best so far in the series, I was able to stay focused on the story from beginning to end which I wasn't able to do with book 1 or 2. I guess a hot badass biker and a baby really does make you go awwww and make you melt mix that with some steamy hot sex and ding ding....winner! Now to wait for Bobby and Courtney's story

This was by far my fave of the Devil Chaser's books by L Wilder. I really enjoyed it and loved both Lily and Goliath. It was good to meet up with all the other characters we met previously in both Inferno and Smolder. Bishop and the others grew on me I guess. But darn it, this is a cliffhanger - just when it was getting really interesting! I will have to buy the next one in the series.

I absolutely loved this book, so much so that I read it practically in one sitting. From the start I connected with Goliath who knows what he wants and goes for it. I really enjoyed seeing both his protective side and the gentler family man. I don't want to give away any spoilers but one part of the book was very emotional for me, particularly being a mother myself. I'm shallow enough to admit that I bought this book entirely on the strength of the cover, but I'm so glad that I did and I will definitely be on the look out for more from this author.
