I enjoy most history books and this one was no exception

I can not recommend these books enough. I have purchased quite a few of these as presents for my granddaughter. Each one is quite heavy and has loads of glossy pages and pictures. They do seem a little too old for her but shes quite clever. They will last her a good number of years plus will help her with school projects/learning. They are highly recommend by me.

Excellent book. Loads and loads of interesting facts. Certainly keeps my son interested and he loves reading this book.

Easy read for kids.

My 10 year old boy loved this book, he found it really interesting and full of information. Mum is now reading it too and learning loads.

This was bought for my 10 year old whilst on holiday. It kept him quiet for hours. Big colourful pages full of facts! Great book!

It’s very informative and give brief history from start of civilisation to modern day. It’s enough to spark early interest and encourages anyone to find out more.

Illustrations are stunning... a great way to browse history, even for an adult.

The book is good, its good for kids, but the book itself is broken on edge, I think supplier is bad and doesn't know how to keep these books, All books from this publisher are broken. I'd avoid it for now

This has some really good details of a lot of history of civilizations. Anti-evolutionists will have to bite their tongue and try to get past some of the very early pages, but if they can, it is worth it to see the presentation of how a lot of human history and civilizations progressed across the map. For the most part, this was presented in a pretty impartial manner with lots of very good detail, trivia and facts scattered on each page as you make your way through from ancient history and migrations to the current times. All this in typical DK Knowledge book style with plenty of side boxes and notes and full page custom diagrams and pictorials.
