Universal 8-Port Antenna Distribution System for Wireless Microphone Receivers Installing on 1U 19" Audio Rack Mount Kit

I gave it only 4 starts because one antenna was hard to get onto the BNC connector. It was the antenna and not the receiver. Aside from that, they work great as 1/4 wave antenna. I use them for both instruments and mics. For instruments I use it with a standup bass with an SLX1 body back. I was not sure if it would work correctly as I read that longer wavelengths needed longer antennas for better transfer. I am not sure if that refers to what is encapsulated in the frequency or the frequency itself. Either way, they work like a champ.

To fit in the carrying case I always had to remove the antennas on my drop-in wireless receiver on my full-size Sony ENG camera. Because of this, it was only a matter of time before they were dropped and lost somewhere. When this happened I hoped to find a replacement quickly. These as replacements function just as well as the originals (if not better in terms of ability) and also allow me to keep attached to the camera when I put it away in the case. Also, since it's a four-pack, I have a backup pair on hand, now. Win-Win-Win.!!! (*NOTE. I researched very carefully frequency ranges and coverage before deciding on this product.)

My application was mounting 2 wireless microphone antennas to the front of my case. These worked fine. My only complaint is that while there is a "flattened" area to stop the BNC bulkhead connectors from rotating in the hole (the hole has the same "flat" shape), it was not deep enough (or the tolerance of the hole was not tight enough) for the connectors to stay tight. They still rotate a little either way when connecting/disconnecting the antennas.

The screws that come with the kit are not the correct size. I had to order 6-32 at 1/2 inch screws to secure things properly Once the rack ears are on its a bit too tight of a squeeze to fit into a standard 19 inch rack. I did make due but will most likely be looking for a better solution next time around.

Damn this took long to get because it ships from overseas but it works great!

Build quality is nice, only bad part is that the screws are not long enough to properly tighten the transmitters.
