Absolutely love having this along with the bimmercode app. I've been dealing with trying to upgrade my halogen low/high beams, turn signals, fogs & angel eyes with the launch scanner. I kept getting resets instead of upgrades. After 2 painstaking weeks of messing with the scanner, killing my car battery because I wasted hours on the launch, I looked up an alternative to it & found that the bimmercode app is the best way to update to LED's. Just make sure to get the adapter for your phone. The app works best on android

Good quality cable

Works perfectly on my 2012 E81. Never had it time out or loss connection while using it. Fits the OBDII snugly which doesn't leave me worried about accidentally pulling it out. I wouldn't use the drivers included in the CD since they are pretty easy to find online. The switch works and allowed me to connect to a friends older 330i with the different cross wiring.

These are priced good but not super reliable. Sometimes they come broken so don't chase your tail if you can't get it to connect for no good reason, just return it for a new one.

I never post a review but thought I have to do it. I purchased this product that has been suggested by some youtuber for BMW coding but I ran into an issue. The device coded some module but gave me an error for one. I tried every possible option to figure that out & after many hours of research & by chance came cross a post in BMW forum that someone had the same issue then he use BIMMER GEEKS cable & it solved the problem. At first, I was uncertain to buy it, since it is more expensive but decided to do it before take the car to the coding mechanic. It work flawlessly. So, DONOT waist your time & make my mistake. Buy the Bimmer Geek cable which comes with latest malware protect chip.

Works perfectly fine with Inpa/winkfp and more, sturdy quality and feels reliable I haven’t given the cd a shot kinda scared about that one lol in general though I recommend this scanner if you want to code your bmw

Works like expected, you just have to find which switch position works for you. For me it was the far left. I didn't trust the CD, but all the tools I used are available for free online.
