Works just like the original Apple charger for my MacBook Pro. Charges fast, doesn’t overheat, and feels solid and well-made. I use it daily for work and travel — no issues at all. Great value for the price!

It’s just like the original charger without the logo. I had the extension cord so was an added bonus that I could use it. The fitting was nice and snug and wasn’t loose. The led lights work perfectly along with the magnets. Both sides work and didn’t matter which side I had it on. I would not trust keeping this on for long periods or unsupervised for a long period of time. At least my unit ran hot. In fact, I pulled out my instant thermometer to see how hot. My reader read 110.5*F a little warm for my liking. Overall, if you are in a pinch and need a charger and don’t want to pay the full price. I would recommend this one. Even for a backup. Just remember what you paid. It’s a bargain and does it’s job. If you are looking for a product that is exactly like Apples. This is not for you and you will be disappointed. Update - the seller had reached out and sent me a new charger. It seems it depends on what charger you get. For the seller great customer service and knowing that I’m not getting the best, I have updated to 5 stars.

I bought this as a backup charger to use at school incase I forgot to charge my MacBook at home. I plugged it in and tried it when I received it and it worked fine. I finally needed to use it at school and it wouldn’t work. I tried multiple outlets, but nothing helped. Fortunately, a classmate had an apple charger for me to try, and it worked! I have tried it a couple times since and same outcome. The plug will not charge my MacBook. I would have returned this product but the return window closed before I even needed to use it.

Upon opening the box I was surprised at the overall quality of the product. I immediately plugged it in and it charges my computer just as fast as my original apple charger. I originally bought this product because I thought I had lost my original charger. After ordering, I ended up finding it in my son's toy box (face palm lol). Since I found my original apple charger, I thought I would try the extension portion of it on this product and it fit perfectly and charged my laptop as if it was my apple charger. The box on this product is exactly like the genuine apple charger without the apple logo. It also has the arms to wrap the cord around for storage when not in use (just like my genuine apple cord). The size of the cord is the same as my apple one as well. The length is roughly 2-3 inches shorter than my genuine apple cord. One last thing I will comment about is the magnetic portion that connects to the laptop to charge it. This portion has a great magnetic strength (same as my apple one). This product is an awesome replacement if you need one, its virtually the same as the genuine apple cord! 5 stars for me! P.S Ive been charging my laptop since I opened the box which was about 10 minutes and my battery percentage has gone from 4% to 16% in that time! Seems like it works great to me!

I was quite impressed with the quality of this product. I lost my real MacBook charger years ago and I refused to spend over $80 for a new one, so I decided to go on amazon and purchase a cheap one instead. I have purchased over 3 different “knockoff” MacBook chargers and they all last for maybe a few months and end up breaking. You can usually even hear stuff moving around on the inside... I told myself I would just end up buying real one if my charger broke again, but due to all this craziness going on I decided to save money and try an off brand again. I was highly impressed with how sturdy it is. You cannot hear any stuff moving around inside like the other brand, it also doesn’t over heat when it’s plugged in and it seems to charge my computer faster than the last one I had! AND it really looks and feels like the real MacBook charger. I’ve only had this charger for a few days, but so far I’m very satisfied!!

Ok so I left my Apple charger in Australia and balked when I found out how much one was to buy from Apple! Basically $100 with taxes. Knowing I would be going back to Australia and get it eventually, this seemed an excessive amount to pay for a few months. I have had this charger for a month now and it does the job just fine. Everything works - LED light, magnets, charges same amount of time. It's not the same heavy duty quality as Apples which you''ll notice as soon as you pull it out of the box because its so light, but its totally comparable for the price and its a great back up charger even if you eventually go get the Apple charger. For now I am using this and really appreciate that I didn't have to cough up a $100 for one. If you need an immediate replacement or a back up this one is still a great choice for the money. Gets warm but have not experienced it get very hot except initially when it was charging my completely dead computer. But not problems or issues since. Also it's a good light weight one for traveling. And its always good to have a back up anyway as I have learnt.
