Hooke Road CB Radio Mounting Bracket Interior Dash Accessory Compatible with Jeep Wrangler TJ 1997-2006

Great product!! Easy to install, my CB mount fit perfectly. However, on my first trail ride, I noticed the mount was rather shaky, considering only two screws are used to mount it. Easy fix: I purchased some adhesive felt pads used for chairs, and placed three on the side that would butt up to the dash enclosure, and on on the outer corner that would butt against the windshield frame. Now, it’s sturdy with no shaking.

Installed this bracket in about five minutes. Almost too easy. Two screws out and two screws in. Only problem I see is the top wobbles and hits against corner of dash. A bit of foam between took care of that.

Put this in my TJ, easy peasy. A lot nicer than mounting it on my center console. I used Velcro to hold my CB down so I can take it out quickly when I park it at the airport for biz trips. Surprised it took so long for me to find this and install it in my Jeep TJ.

I'm happy with the product and the placement is so much easier to utilize than the others options I had. Doesn't shake or seem insecure when driving. My doors were off prior to the installation and I'm hoping that I won't have to make any adjustments when it comes time to put them back on. I added a couple pieces of felt disks behind it to protect the windshield incase it came in contact with it. Good price and seems to be doing what I need it to do thus far.

Very easy to install great location haven’t found the cb radio I want yet but when I do I’ll be very happy with the location
