Simplicity R5 14-16-18-20-22 Sewing Pattern 2172 Misses Costume

Saw this on another site and loved the pattern immediately. The only problem was it was too small for me. Having not made anything for a long time I was unsure to take on the task myself having to allow for bigger so took it to a wonderful seamstress in Gosport who made it for me. This is the finished product having brought all the material myself. I am really pleased with it and look forward to wearing it at a steampunk convention later in the year.

This pattern as you can see by photos was really easy to follow . The suzi g was really good too . What great quality The paper was of the pattern pieces . I was delighted in how well it was explained to put it together and then wear with lots of compliments x

Last stage of making the jacket, I'm a size 20 so we made the 22 and it didn't quite reach for button holes so we are going to improvise with a hook eye and a broach in front Other wise great fit, it's going to be my wedding jacket

I haven't made anything for years. I found this pattern easy to follow as the instructions were very clear. Very pleased with the end result.
