Truly Works Wonders
My very fat 15yo cat managed to get himself hung up on something & ended up tearing a tendon in his leg. Our normal vet was out of town so we had to see the temp vet. She said that the kitty was going to need expensive surgery. Especially because his wt & age would make it very unlikely that it would heal on its own. We were given an antiinflammatory & something for his pain, to try for a wk or 2 & then come in for a recheck. So kitty was avoiding walking & had severe limp when he did walk. He couldn't jump @ all & could not do stairs. He was very obviously in severe pain & just miserable. It was awful! I hate it when my babies aren't well & I can't do anything. So we went to the follow up appt (our normal vet was back). Our vet likes to treat conservatively first. He said surgery would be tough on kitty due to his age & wt, it could be risky. He gave us GlucoFlex & said we'd give it some time & see what happened. WOW!!! After 3 months he was so much better. It is now about 2yrs later & he is doing wonderfully! He didn't just recover from the torn tendon, he has improved in every way to better than he was before he got hurt!!! He has no limp. He is jumping higher & more frequently. He is seeking out the dog for wrestling matches, etc. GlycoFlex reversed the clock - took 5 yrs off his age. Since we had such good results w/kitty, we decided to try the GlycoFlex for dogs for our 15yo Chihuahua. He has bad knees & back problems. He had been on another glycogen supplement for yrs, w/out much affect. After several months on GlycoFlex, he is racing around like he's half his age!!! He is now able to jump up on the couch again. He's pouncy & playful. This stuff truly works wonders!

I cut this into slices for my toothless cat, Very effective!
I waited a few weeks after administering this to my cat in order to provide a clear and useful review. My 14 year old toothless cat Teddy loves these (thank goodness!) and now comes running when he hears the bag being picked up. I cut the treat into about 9 small slices and he gobbles them right down. His younger sister (3 yrs old) always comes running at that time and wants some too, so I end up giving her something else more age appropriate for her. They both wolf their treats down and are happy, and so am I! As to the efficacy of this product for my 14 year old cat, previously he was getting stiff and groaning whenever he would get up and also whenever I would pick him up. He walked with very stiff legs. He also sometimes missed when jumping up from the floor to the couch, and pretty much stayed in one place all day. I've been giving him one treat daily (he's 9 pounds) and after a week or so, he stopped groaning when getting up from a nap or when we picked him up. He hasn't missed on a jump from the floor to the couch since about the second week, and is walking less stiffly. He's a Persian and a very, very laid back cat who was never one for running much, or doing anything particularly energetic. But the other day I heard cat feet galloping in from the kitchen to the living room (we have wood floors) where I was sitting. I assumed it was my younger cat but no, it was my 14 year old who ran into the room! Of course he laid right down and went to sleep (as he does) but it made me happy to see this improvement. My vet also is familiar with these and says she has seen good results in other cats. I will continue giving these to him as they seem to work pretty well and I am grateful for the improvement and obvious lessening of pain for him!

Tastes Good
Im a terrible pet parent. My orange boy was limping so I took him to the vet. I thought he had an injury from hopping on counters and high places a lot, and also being a little bit over weight. The vet diagnosed him with arthritis at 9 years old. He is notorious for getting into food layed out and I forgot to put these away. I came back from the store and he had eaten most of it. He was fine after vomiting all the treats up lol, no other signs of discomfort or anything. Added pic of the culprit. Update after 2 months: His limping flares have lowered by a lot along with the adequan shots, these treats and salmon oil. My other kitty loves these too.

Turned my cat into a "drug" addict, lol
My little (big, let's be real) guy came to me as a rescue. We guesstimated his age to be about 1 years old at the time. Immediately I noticed that he couldn't jump up on the windowsill, which went from "Aww how adorable." to "Hmm this may actually be a medical issue." Juvenile arthritis. Supplements needed. We tried the market and eventually landed on these for a few reasons. Value for money was there, for sure. They're super simple to administer, as he takes them like a treat. He even waits for me to plop one in his bowl every morning before he's satisfied. I pour a scoop of kibble, he looks at it, looks at me like "And then?". Plop one in and he immediately eats it before everything else. He likes them so much that he associates them with a like bag of dog supplements and he now tries to eat the dog supplements as well. This is seriously a first. Sir Didymus Maximus says "Kudos for flavor." I think we're on year 5 of using them now. Level 2 didn't work for us, but level 3 was GOLD!

They like it!!!
My cats like the taste and will eat it without hesitation. Been using for years with no issues. The price has been going up too much lately and I may have to reconsider continuing with auto ship.

Didn't work for my cat
Starting my cat on these today. I emptied the bag after opening and counted 62 chews, nice to have a couple extra. In one review someone said they only got 45 chews in a bag, so I wanted to check. I bought these for $12.50 a couple days ago and now the price went up to $16.50, so that is unfortunate. I may have to switch to a different product if this type of supplement works for my cat. Other reviews said the price on these fluctuate. One review said the price even went up to $39.99, so I definitely couldn't afford that. March 21: gave one chew to my cat, she took it and chewed it, but it seemed difficult for her, they are big chews, and got stuck in her teeth. She sneezed 5 times and I noticed these things smell strong, so maybe that's why. She is a 16 year old wild outside cat and has come down with arthritis. I don't think I will do the initial 2 chews a day to play it extra safe. The bag says you can do 4-6 weeks of giving 2 chews a day for a 10lb. Cat, but I don't feel comfortable doing that. I will see how she does taking one chew a day. She is a small 5lb. cat anyways. March 22: Kiddy ate her second chew, she had to paw her face because they get stuck in her teeth, but she liked it and ate it all. March 23: She ate her chew for the day. She seems to really like them, I was worried because she has never liked sea food, and the chews contain shrimp, crab and mussel, but surprisingly she likes these. She still acts sore and tired from arthritis. March 24: ate her chew and is doing well, her soreness is the same. The price of the chew went back down to $12.50. March 25, 26: she ate the chews, still likes them, but they definitely make her sneeze. So far I have not noticed a difference in her condition. She still moves around slowly. March 27: one whole week and still no difference in energy in my cat, I will update a week from now, and see what 2 weeks on one chew a day does for my cat. April 3: two weeks on the chews and no noticable difference in my cat. She likes them as treats, but I can't say these work for what I bought them for, to help with arthritis and relieve joint pain. She is still sore from her arthritis. April 17th: 4 weeks and no noticable difference in my cat. I can't say for sure if these chews help the way she feels, because she acts the same as she did before taking these. But I can say for sure, no noticable, or visual difference in my cat after taking these for one month. The price also went up to 15.50, so the price of these is definitely not consistent, which is unfortunate. April 19: In conclusion, these did not work for my cat, but other reviews say it works for their cat, so might be worth a try. For me, I think up next I will try Omega fish oil, which has been proven to help with pain and arthritis. I am wondering if my cat is just in her end days, possibly why these didn't work, she is very old, I always have dry and canned food out for her, and she seems to be getting weaker and losing weight, so end of life/old age could explain why the chews did nothing. She also didn't eat the treat I gave her today, so that also is sad:( hope it works for you.

one morning she hurt so bad she wouldn't even stand up and walk out of ...
We first heard about Glyco Flex from VetriScience about 10 years ago when our dog developed a limp. The vet felt stiffness in her rear leg and suggested we try Glyco Flex. She gave me a small amount to try for a month. We were very surprised how quickly she responded! After those tablets were gone, I didn't purchase any more - They were pricey and I was hoping that her problem wouldn't come back. But a few months later, one morning she hurt so bad she wouldn't even stand up and walk out of her kennel! I was terrified something was wrong and called the vet. The vet asked about the Glyco Flex and away I went to purchase more. By the next day my dog was standing up by herself and walking! I kept her on the tablets till she passed away at 15. She was on the tablets for about 8 years. Then last year our cat wasn't doing well and the vet diagnosed kidney disease. Change of food and saline solution IV's didn't seem to help him. All he did was sleep and lay around. He wouldn't jump up on anything - not even his favorite chair and blanket! So, we took some of the leftover dog tablets and cut them down to the size of a cat chew, crushed it up and mixed with a small spoonful of soft cat food, added a little water - and - wallaa!!! He loved it! A few days later he was running around and jumping up on the chair again. The vet called to see how he was doing and if he needed another saline IV. I kindly declined and explained what we were feeding him. She laughed and said not to quit if it is working. Now my husband is also on Glyco Flex for humans after he saw what it did for our 4 legged friends! Amazing stuff!! Thank you Amazon for making it affordable and easy to get.

No notable difference
Context: my cat is 18.5 years old and has hip arthritis. My cat has been feed these twice a day for quite a few months. Near as I can tell, there is no noticeable difference in his hip and joint pain and in fact, he seems to be hurting even more than usual, suggesting these have had no benefit. My cat also can not chew them. They are very hard and dry and he has considerable tooth decay. I have been creating meal portions for him, with a bit of water and one of these. I then refrigerate and by the time I serve to him, they have hydrated considerably and I can mix it in with his food. As for taste, he ignores them when not mixed with his food and seems to avoid eating them at all. But when mixed in he seems to consume them just fine. I can't speak to someone else's cat, but for my very old (and rather large) cat, these don't appear to be of any benefit. Since they don't seem to harm him, I'm going to next try doubling the amount he receives. If he shows any improvement or change, I will update my review.
