The one i bought came without instructions. i´m lost! is there a site where i can find it online?

Not any site with instructions to my knowledge. It is fairly simple to set up though. All you do is look on the side of the clock and set the music button to on, turn the volume control button to the right to set it, insert 3 'c' batteries in the back, Hang it on the wall. Hang the pendulum on it and the pine cone accessories. Then to set the time you have to move the BIG hand one hour at a time and wait for the bird to cuckoo and the music to play. You repeat this step for each hour until you get to the correct time. It is important that you let the bird cuckoo and the music play each time. DO NOT skip this step.

Clock size 8", is this the size of just the clock excluding the hanging pendulum?

The Clock that I actually bought was River City Clocks One Day Musical Cuckoo Clock Cottage with Dancers and Moving Waterwheel - 12 Inches Tall - Model # MD400-12P.  The actual size of the clock is 7"D x11"W x13"H just the house without the pendulum.   I returned the other clock (Clock size 8) because it was too small for me.  But the size of this house was almost 9" without the pendulum.

The clock I ordered Christmas 2014 is as pictured on Amazon's site!  Love the clock as does my 8 yr. old grandson.  It was a Santa gift as it was the only thing he had asked for that Christmas.  Being autistic, he has so enjoyed the movements and frequently moves the hands to count the time.  It has thus been a great learning tool and very sturdy.  It hangs at an easy level for him to manipulate.  I searched long and hard to find what would be a good, affordable clock as he wanted.  Have not been disappointed.
