DyeMore Liquid Dye, Tropical Teal

This dye worked well and is a beautiful color - teal is one of my fave colors. The only drawback is that you have to boil the vat with the dye and keep it on the burner. Directions said 30 minutes, but I got the desired shade in 5 to 10.

Turned out perfectly! I bought a white lace dress, but I'm not very big on wearing white, so I decided to dye it what I was hoping would be a vivid teal/turquoise color (thus why I chose Tropical Teal). I was a little nervous because I've never dyed anything I cared about before, and I was worried I'd ruin the dress. I followed the instructions exactly--I had a 5 gallon pot and used the full bottle of dye with 3 gallons of water and added the dress when it hit 200 degrees F. I stirred it around for about 10 minutes and then rinsed it and washed it in the washing machine (make sure to add an old towel). A few things to notice that you can see in the pictures--the color can be very different depending on the fabric. The outer lace layer is a bright turquoise, whereas the liner is a much more dull teal. Not sure if it comes through well, but the threading is a much darker teal. It all works really well for this particular dress, but just be aware that different fabrics may appear different colors when dyed. Overall, the color came out very evenly, and I'm thrilled with it!

used this to recreate salem’s dress from tyler the creator’s “ifhy” music video for a concert look with my man. couldn’t find a single damn dress that matched her color, so i said diy time and baby, she dyed PERFECT. yellow mixed with this tropical teal was gonna give me the exact color i needed. easy to use, washed well, didn’t ruin my pot or wooden spoon, and the final color was vibrant af without looking crusty or neon. it had no smell and didn’t ruin the quality of my dress (although it was already not the best considering it was from shein loll). the value for money was amazing considering i still have so much left. the color stayed the same even through 2 washes. highly recommend for any cosplay, costume, or if you’re just feeling a lil crazy and wanna dye your closet. 10/10 would re-dye.

I used this to dye a woven belt. It took three times of dying until I got the shade I wanted. A great product to get the exact color you want.

It works well but it was a brighter shade of turquoise than I was hoping for. So I added a little dark blue and dark green to get a darker shade of teal.

This dye worked great! I dyed two new bathroom rugs that were white. Nothing stays white out in the country, so I dyed them a pretty teal color to match my bathroom. They look beautiful. The secret to using this dye is to get your water almost boiling and keep stirring the item you want to dye for at least 10 minutes.

Beautiful vibrant teal color when used on Nylon and Spandex blend materials. Comes out bright turquoise blue when used on polyester. Unfortunately, I bought this to dye a white full bodysuit for my daughter’s theater costume and needed it to be the teal color. It turned out blue with no hint of aqua/teal. Had to purchase the peacock green color to over-dye in order to get more green. Ended up being too green. Guess I need to start over. I did end up dying a white sports bra in the Tropical Teal color, and it turned out so pretty, and teal. The bra was mostly nylon, and it came out a completely different color than the bodysuit. They were dyed together in the same pot.

Lovely colour, true to colour chart. Worked well on a pair of white cotton jeans ( yes I know this is for synthetics but it’s the colour I wanted!) in washing machine. I used the colour fastener as well and wait to see how well that works.

Pas utilisé parce que la veste à teindre était aussi composée de duvet qui ne peut pas être chauffé.
