Great for Hard of Hearing People
I’m severely hard of hearing and vision impaired. After trying several different alarms and not finding one that was loud enough, I watched a YouTube review of this alarm and decided to buy one. I’m so glad I did. I set it up easily in just a few minutes using the included instructions. The display is large and the brightness is adjustable. The alarms can be set up to use the buzzer only, the vibration only, or both. I use both. I rely primarily on the vibration but have the buzzer on for my fiancé, and I’m able to hear it without hearing aids in. The buzzer does have adjustable volume (hi, med, low), and the vibration is pretty strong. The cord for the vibrating disc is fairly long too. There are also two USB ports on the side, but I don’t use them. Overall, this is a great alarm, and I’m highly satisfied with my purchase.

It gets a teenage boy out of bed!
My son can sleep through anything. Super huge thunderstorms rolling through? Not a peep. Tornado siren 3 blocks from our house? Maybe a twitch. Rolling out of bed? Nope, he sleepwalks back without opening his eyes. Needless to say, I've gone through a lot of ineffective alarm clocks over the years just to have to go upstairs and shake him myself anyway. Well, no more!! This alarm is loud and obnoxious enough to wake me (with ear plugs in) from downstairs. The bed shaker is a bit weak, but he puts it between his pillow and headboard so it makes additional loud noise as well as shaking the pillow. So far, he's gotten himself up for school every day. I may upgrade to a sonic boom alarm clock in the future, but if you want something between that and a run of the mill alarm clock, this is the one for you!

Pretty good, just not for me lol
Disclaimer: I have narcolepsy and was trying to use this alarm to wake me up in the middle of the night to take medication that I'm sure as I sleep the way I'm supposed to. Go. So it just didn't wake me up. But in all fairness, the medication makes it incredibly hard to wake me up and even unmedicated I'm next to impossible to wake up so I don't think it's really the alarm's fault, just my stupid brain. That being said, the vibration is incredibly strong and also kind of laugh Out in and of itself. The beep itself is also decently allowed although it would not have woken me up even before medication perior medication. The brightness can be adjusted and that's nice. My biggest complaint is that it doesn't come with instructions to tell you Witch hole to plug witch cord and say, I had to look up a YouTube video to figure that out. All in all, it's a good vibrating alarm. I returned it though.

Small fixes make this better than the competitors
This vibrating alarm clock is an improvement over other models I’ve been using for years. Here are some of the pluses of this model: 1. Much easier to set the time Bc of both forward and backward arrows. When setting alarm and time, you have both forward and backward arrows for adjusting time instead of just forward arrows, so if you miss your desired time by a minute, you can just go back instead of cycling through the whole 24-hour cycle again 2. Date, month, year —> options for alarm schedules (week, weekend, or 7-day) 3. Super bright display (and the option to dim it) 4. 2 usb charging ports Con is that the vibration may not be quite as strong as with my other model, but it’s still enough to wake you up- at least in combination with the sound alarm. Great device overall.

Couldn't wake up in the morning
I don't consider myself a heavy sleeper, especially since I do wake up during the night when there's an unusual noise. My issue is not being able to wake up with an alarm. Any alarm! I have many alarm clocks. They all work when I first get them, but then I eventually become desensitized to the sound of the alarm, and I don't hear it. This was the first bed shaker I bought. It has worked consistently for the last two months. Having so many alarms, there are a few things about this one that could be better. 1. It seems odd to me that the button to enter the set-alarm mode is on the side, but then you have to use the up/down buttons on the top to change the alarm settings. 2. The down button is on the left side of the wide snooze button, and the up button is on the right side of the snooze button. It's uncomfortably odd that these buttons are not right next to each other. It took me a couple weeks to get a feel for where these buttons were on the top of the alarm rather than just being able to use two fingers to go up and down without moving my hand. Until you get used to where these buttons are, you'll be fumbling around pressing things on the top. The problem is that the clock only gives you a few seconds before it quits out of set-alarm mode, and it does not save the time you are trying to set. 3. When snoozing the alarm, it's an extreme hazard that pressing those up/down buttons will actually turn off the alarm. Someone else also pointed out this issue in their review. 4. If you sleep with a nightlight, you might not need one any more with this clock. I love the big readout because I can still see the numbers without my glasses when I do wake up at night. I actually have a LIFX lamp in my bedroom that I do keep on at about 1% at night. I was able to match the LIFX color to the alarm clock so the bedroom has a consistent color, which was also better for my eyes if I do get up at night or early morning. The good things that I like: 1. The bed shaker works. Sadly, just like all of the alarms I've had for 30 years, I am starting to become desensitized by the shaker. The audible alarm is still working for me though. 2. It has two USB ports. One is 1A and the other is 2A. This is great since I always have 4 devices that get plugged in every night, and sometimes I have 6 devices. This alarm clock took up one of my outlets for my charging cables, but I got that port back, plus an extra one.

Great if you are a deep sleeper
Have trouble waking up? Put the vibrate thing under your pillow and eliminate the issue of not hearing your alarm clock in the morning. The first time you experience it it's.... jarring... to say the least. It's not a "fun" experience by any means, but it definitely accomplishes it's intended goal!
