Amazon Basics 12-Piece Knife Set, Multicolor

After the utter faff in trying to buy these ( age verification etc etc,) we are really pleased with these. I wasn't sure about this set because its a basics set, but the knives are really sharp, and the balance is surprisingly good considering it looks plasticy, its actually a great set and a really good price, I am tempted to buy another set to keep as spares ( we have lots of family over and everyone gets involved in the cooking at Christmas). Each one is a different colour and come with a hard plastic sheath blade cover so they don't damage your cutlery drawer. We hang ours on this massive magnetc shelf we have, the blades stick well, the handles don't. I have been using the little yellow one every day to prep veggies and fruit for smoothies and the blade has held up really well. I was concerned the colouring on the blade would be damaged by the acidity of the fruits or the constant use but so far they seem pretty indestructible. Each handle is well made, ergonomic, comfortable for both me with my little hands and my partner with has great big hands, to use, although the little green paring knife is trickier for him to hold, that's really no surprise when you have hands like dinner plates. The bread knife works really well on the rye bread, we haven't tried it on white bread yet but each of the serrated teath are sharp all the way up, which some cheap knife manufacturers skimp on, so thats a bonus, especially of you make home made bread in different sizes ( my sourdough rye bread is a big round loaf ). Each knife has a different colour, which can be useful if you have reduced vision. All the colours are really bright. Very pleased with this set.

Fast delivery as always and handed to me in person. For the cheap price they are they are quality. Nice and sharp straight out of the box to and the plastic safety covers are a great idea too. Feel nicely balanced in the hand, not to heavy or to light, just right in my opinion. The colours are nice also and good because you can select a specific knife for specific needs if that’s what you wanted. As for rust resistant-well it’s early days really so can’t truthfully say-but with the painted coating and being stainless steel, well I can’t see them rusting as as far as I no-stainless steel doesn’t rust, well nothing stainless steel I own has ever rusted anyway. I did actually have a couple of scratches on 2 of the knives though, but to be honest it doesn’t bother me as they are cheap and most likely will get scratches in time anyway. All in all I’m more than impressed with them and I doubt you’ll get a set as good as this for the price. 10/10 even with the slight cosmetic scratches 👍👍

2ND TIME OF BUYING THIS SET AS MISPLACED THE PARING KNIFE SO AFTER LOOKING AT BUYING PARING KNIFE SEPERATELY, IT MADE SENSE TO BUY THIS ENTIRE SET AGAIN FOR THE PRICE AND QUALITY GAURANTEED.. REALLY GOOD QUALITY, IDEAL FOR HOUSEHOLD, VERY SHARP AND COMES WITH COVERS FOR EACH KNIFE. GREAT SELECTION OF KNIVES FOR HOUSEHOLD USE AND SUPER COLOURFUL- EASY CLEAN, STAY SHARP FOR AGES AND KEEP THE COLOUR- BRIGHTENS UP KITCHEN TOO ONE OF MY BEST BUYS EVER.

I love these knives so much I have bought them twice, one for me and one as a present. they come in wonderfully bright colours, that make cooking and chopping a joy. They are durable and I love the fact that they have a case. I haven't put them in the dishwasher as they say not too. I don't think that they will rust. The grip is good and fits well ergonomically in my hand. They are a good weight too. For an amazon basic product they are very pretty to look at and have a great price point.

These knives are incredibly sharp & slide through all foods with ease. The flip side is that they must be used with extreme care. The blade shields provided are an absolute must when ever knife is not in use.

These are super strong and sharp knives I have ever used. I washed all the knives and also cut the vegetables for 3 days but still no problem with color. These knives cut carrot, beetroot without any struggle. Got it delivered on the same through prime. Overall, good product for a very reasonable price.

Amazing!!!!😻😻😻😻 beautiful colours open them slowly because they're so so sharp! Beware when opening these bad boysss to let everyone know there are 6 knifes in it, not 12 the covers make it a 12 piece set which I already knee before I bought them so worth the price I would definitely buy more when I need them! I never write reviews but I had to give these 5 stars!
